Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by overpriced and hard to find first, the hotel entrance is almost invisible. there is a sign but it is only visible from one direction.The entrance is more of an alley looking road or pathway that had overhanging limbs in it so even had i seen it in time to turn down at 1130 at night i would have hit them. there is an alternate and safer way into the hotel but it is not easly marked and i found it by mistake. second. check in was slow i booked online through the ihg site but it took front desk some time to find my reservation and complete the check-in . i almost felt as if i had just shown up and was booking the room right then and there. third, i was on the 3rd floor. which was about 99 degrees, apparently they are saving money on not cooling the floor.not necessarily a deal killer but the room was not cooled either and the ac unit worked how it wanted when it wanted. it was too late to complain or move rooms, so i went to bed hot and woke up frozen.i mentioned this issue to the front desk and was told if it happens again call them for the maintenance guy. wrong answer. go fix it , they didnt 4th i have seen hotel gyms bigger than the breakfast area. the coffee bar was right in front of the only tv all 20 inches of it. and there was no way to move around without knocking someone or something over. lastly i extended my stay by 1 day and was quoted a rate far below what i was charged for that extra night. also, i had to close out on checkout, as a platinum member i am used to having the bill slipped under my door. the room rate in itself was very high for this property, there were better deals i don't need the points this bad. I have back problems but slept well. Very peaceful and quiet. Choice of foods were great and tasty. Rapid checkout made it easy to checkout. Great visit! August 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Watch out for the breakfast attendant! The breakfast attendant is just too cheerful! NO ONE should be that happy in the morning, especially to those of us who haven't yet had our required infusion of coffee. Seriously, she was a lot of fun! I wish she could be cloned and sent to every HI Express nationwide. Joking with her was worth the whole stay! It made the morning easier - coffee or no! July 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our stay in Holiday Inn Express; Relaxing and Cost Effective Holiday Inn Express compares in price and quality; excellent experience. We found all aspects in hotel to be in good condition, especially the fitness room that we frequented. Floors were sparkling, staff was courteous, and this meant a lot as both of us have been in customer service. We will stay here when we return to this state. We also frequent Holiday Inn Express in other states. All are of the same high quality, and the price is right! Staff have definitely received training, and the chain is non-smoking! July 25, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff was very nice. There was a softball tournament in town so most "nicer" hotels were booked. I was thankful to get a room at the Holiday Inn Express. I was not able to get two beds, so my son had to sleep on the pullout sofa. It had a bad dip in the middle and was not comfortable. The room was overall comfortable, roomy and clean. However, my husband had a bed pillow that smelled like body odor. I would recommend the housekeeping staff give more attention to details. July 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by personnel experience I felt the personnel were not very well trained for the responsabilities they were suppose to be aconplishing at this establishment. It just seemed like the attendant on duty had no authorization to make any decisions for the customer. Every time a decision had to be made, the attendant had to call or text the manager to see what should be done, even after midnight when a room function was not operating correctly. The check out date that you have listed for me is incorrect. I was there for three days. Again, the reservation was made in 2 attempts. One for the 26th and then again one for the 27th and 28th. I did not actually check out until the 29th AM. Again, just a result of the lack of attention to detail by the personnel at this facilitiy. July 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room smaller than expected, but comfortable. Only con is that there should be a towel rack provided in the restroom. There were 2 adults and 2 children in the room and towel placement was inadequate. Otherwise, no problems. Staff is courteous, accommodating, and very friendly. July 1, 2015
