The staff is competent in removing sales tax from the bill for employees of the Federal Government: tax exempt. The other hotels in the area make a big to-do over the request. Therefore, Holiday Inn won my business; the other hotels lost. Customer focus pays off. Good job to the staff at the Holiday Inn in Grenada.

Overall a really nice hotel. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The room was clean, and quiet, and the Breakfast was pretty good too. Finding it was easy with plenty of food and shopping establishments really close by.

At the time of check in, we were given the wrong roomkey (102) but were met in the hall on our way to the room by hotel staff with the correct room key (112). After reaching our room, we found neither room key would open the door. Another trip to the front desk resulted in another key that would not open the room door. Upon the third trip to the front desk, hotel staff programmed two more keys for the door and accompanied us to our room. The first key attempted would not open the door. The second key attempted did open the door. At approx 1:00 am, we were awakened by someone repeatedly attempting to open our room door. Upon informing the people attempting to access our room that in fact the room was already occupied, they informed us that they were instructed by the front desk that they were in fact checked into our room (112).
Regardless of who told what to who, or what room a guest was trying to access.....based on these occurrences, we had an unsatisfying stay at this Holiday Inn. We syat at Holiday Inn whenever it is an option, and is most often our first choice. I have recently jouined the Priority Club. I realize every other Holiday Inn stay we have had has been exemplary....but we will not return to the Grenada MS Holiday Inn....untrained staff and security issues. Thank you.

great location and really nice staff that went out of their way to make sure that my stay meet and exceeded my expectations. I would recommended this location to anyone looking for a place in or around Grenada, MS.
