Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay My overall stay was wonderful, I would recommend a couple changes to procedures. The hotel front desk staff was never at the front desk, at one point I had to wait at least 2 min which seems like a minimal amount of time but at other hotels there is always someone present at the front desk. The Breakfast person and the front desk person always seem to be out on smoke breaks at the same time, the customers should not have to hit a button to get service. I have stayed there for several stays and between 6:30am-7:00am there will never be anyone in the breakfast area or the front desk because they are out smoking and the breakfast area was not completely setup but the lady still takes her smoke break. Also I was very surprised to come back from a hard days work at 5:30pm to find my room was not yet cleaned, this has happened a few times during my stay, the last thing a person wants is to come to the hotel and plan on resting and have to leave your room cause is needed to be serviced. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from Home My husband and I travel alot and Holiday Inn Express is always what we look for so If you want personable friendly service, soft plush towels/washcloths....nothing scratchy....a breakfast that someone actually takes time to monitor so there is no skimming the top to get to the gravy, eggs are still warm and coffee is so fresh and "oh my goodness" Holiday Inn Express and their Cinnamon Rolls....then go ahead and make your reservations and enjoy....Smiles, Service, and Satisfaction! This was not mentioned when I checked in... it just showed up on my bill. I did not have time to discuss with management before my departure. This is no way to treat a gold elite member. The location is great as I can stop before entering Omaha and continue my trip east the following day. The room/bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The staff is very friendly, the property is new and clean, and with my military discount it's less expensive than other nearby hotels. I will definitely be staying here again. July 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Patience with a smile. I was very impressed with the staff at the Holiday Inn Express while staying there. Several mornings my husband and I went to the guest room to eat breakfast, and there were many children with their parents. The children were hungry an impatient and the staff was very helpful with the parent to make sure they had everything they needed. I watched her buzz back and forth in the back room several times getting more stock. I finally reached in my purse for a tip and handed it to her on our last day. You Deserve this. Good job. We stayed here last year at the same time and liked it so we came back because we visit family in the area. Last year we had a suite but we stayed in a regular room this time and I was happy to see that a microwave and refrigerator were included. A Walmart and Arby's are very close to the hotel so you can buy whatever you may need without going very far. It would be nice if other restaurants were close by. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel were the omelets they serve in the breakfast room, I think they could be deleted and people wouldn't miss them. The cinnamon rolls are delicious. Was kind of pushed out of the pool area with all their rules and regulations on opening the door to go outside to smoke when there was no sign saying we couldn't go out the pool door. June 29, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice accommodations, rude manager When trying to get the discount a week late for the wedding party we stayed with, the manager stated "We won't give you that price because we don't care if you will stay with us since you are booking on a Saturday night and we will sell those rooms anyways." Very unprofessional and rude. I brought this up to the bride and groom who stated working with this manager was the most difficult and rude experience during their entire wedding-planning experience. Apparently when they were first speaking to the manager, she said to have a shuttle service, they must have 20 rooms booked. There were 23 booked with their wedding party and the manager stated "I told you guys 25 rooms had to be booked." They finally got the manager to stick with the original number she had said, but it was a very unpleasant experience. Also, for the location, this hotel is very expensive. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of Loyalty I've stayed at this particular hotel over 30 times over the last year and have had many of my employees and associates also stay here from my recommendation. Just called to get a room for next Saturday and was told they would not honor my normal rate or give me an upgrade as a Platinum member. Apparently the College World Series is coming and takes precedence over a loyal customer. I will be taking my business along with my employees and associates to another Holiday Inn nearby. The price was one third more than holiday inn express I had stayed in the night before and it did not have a refridge or microwave which the previous hotel did have and I generally need. May 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very comfortable The bed was very comfortable. Quiet room. Fitness room had a treadmill, elliptical, recumbant bike, medicine balls, floor mats, and two tv's. Breakfast was complimentary but the aausage was gray and I have never been a fan of their omelets. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. May 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced rooms limited breakfast Hotel is clean and staff friendly. Over priced rooms for the Berkshire Hathaway weekend. I paid double of what I would of paid any other Holiday Inn Express. Door ways have openings where someone could see in from hallway. Coffee pot in room didn't work. Limited breakfast and what food that was there was cold.. Where were the cinnamon rolls that you advertise in you web site? I have stayed at other Holiday Inns in and around Omaha in passed years that are a lot nicer and lower room rates. We will never stay there again. May 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room and fantastic service We were in NE to visit family. We are frequent travelers and comfort and cleanliness is a priority. Our stay at this hotel was a great experience. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and continued to be so during our stay. The room was very clean, up to date, and the bathroom was very clean as well. The bed was comfortable and enough pillows for my husband and me. The room was spacious. It was nice to have a warm breakfast in the morning. They also had hot water for tea. We had a split stay. Two nights at the hotel and then we traveled out of the area for one night and then back again for the final night. The first room we were in had a fridge and microwave the second room did not. This is the only thing I was not happy about and wish all rooms provided the microwave and fridge. I will recommend this hotel to other family and friends and will be staying here again.
