Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Loved my stay. The best Hotel in Griffin
The Holiday Inn Express is one of the best hotels in Griffin, GA.
Check in was quick and fast.
The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds are very comfortable.
The halls were quiet.
The cost is a little more than the normal hotel in the area but the quality and overall cleanliness is worth the extra bucks.
The rooms are on the inside and you have a greater sense of safety.
Parking is no problem.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sody's Best staff ever
This was the best run hotel we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. The front desk (manager) was excellent and set the bar for the other employees. They rose to the occasion and were very good as well. We will definitely return to this HI Express. This staff should be recognized. The front desk manager should train your other managers. She was that good and I have been in the corporate world for many years (40 ).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NOTAGAIN7711 Very Quiet
Staff very friendly, and room very comfortable. Was on the first floor, and just outside the room was a large box of something, that looked like it had been just left there for a very long time. Place is very old, but clean. Needs serious updating. Breakfast was good. Will probably stay again....odd that there were not many people there, since it is the holiday season.

Used to brand new Holiday Inn Express hotels. The staff was great but the facility has seen its better days. Still probably a top option in Griffin.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jack C. Will Have to Think Really Hard About Future Stays at a Holiday Inn Express
My wife and I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in the past. At the time it hadn't been open all that long. Our stay then compared to December 6-8, 2014 was the difference between night and day. The pool area was dirty. There appeared to be something that looked like mulch or potting soil by the exit leading to a small patio. Under a table in the pool area it looked like someone had used some toilet paper to make paper mache. The paper was dried, so it had been there a few days at least. The jacuzzi wasn't working. The sign indicated that it was out of order until further notice. As filthy as it was the jacuzzi had apparently been out of order for some time. The shower rod in Room 113 had been raised, but the length of the shower curtain wasn't increased to compensate for it (see attached photos). The shower curtain was on the short side, which led to water puddling up near the bathroom door because the shower curtain was only about 2 inches below the edge of the tub. Apparently there is also a drainage problem in that shower/tub combination as I was standing in 3-4 inches of water while showering. That problem wasn't encountered in Room 203 the night before. Staff was very friendly, and overall the facility was clean, but that doesn't make up for the problems described above.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Steinie616 Great old hotel; but it needs upgrading.
Rooms were large and comfortable; but many things need to be upgraded. Had nice shower; but old worn out toilet and heating system. Place has obviously been upgraded recently; but job was only half done. Again: the place was great 40 years ago; but it is worn out and has not been properly upgraded.
