Was given a room and when we walked in it was filthy!! Had to go back down to the front desk and get a room change.
This is the second time in 2 months that we have rented a king suite and the television in the sitting area did not work. FIrst time we stayed, we reported it. Second time, was told up front that the TV did not work. Now, this means either Holiday Inn or the manager for this particular Holiday Inn is not doing their job.
I really think this needs to be addressed and resolved.

Arriving on Christmas the hotel was pretty empty. The front desk attendant, Jodi, acted as if we were a inconvienece while she was texting in the side room off the main front desk.
She told us because we had not booked directly we were not eligible for the priority club upgrade as it was not mandated... it was if there were availability. I told her the parking lot was empty except for one car...which was probably hers.
The room had a leaking faucet that the handle fell off while trying to turn it all the way off. She said it would not be fixed until the next morning and she hoped we could bare with it through the night. And it was a handicap room even though we were not handicap. I am sure that is against ADA policies.
The next afternoon (after the maintenance man had came and fixed the handle) around 7:30 pm our door would not lock. We went to the front desk... and spoke to Jodi again. She tried calling the maintenance man at home then her boss. I asked to be moved and she said she could not move us because we did not book directly. We had to argue with the lady, she walked into the back room area while talking to us, and we had to cancel our trip to see Christmas lights. Once we got on the lobby phone with Customer Relations she changed us to a standard room that had a smaller bathroom than the one we were just in.
She rolled her eyes and she pushed the new keys to us.
The bath tub was not cleaned. The fixture going into the wall from the toilet was rusted and not even close to the wall.... letting in insects. There was a dead one in the corner where the grout was so nasty. The pool area had exposed receptacles, dirty dirty tile with slime in pool and hot tub, water fountain had rust and green material, broken tiles, the walls had air bubbles, broken patio chair, sauna said permanetly out of service, and handicap lift was no operational and rusted majorly.

The hotel and staff were great.. The only bad thing i would have to say about my stay would be the pool the hottub water n the tub its self look dirty the water was green and pipes seem like they were clogged up.. The bathroom in the pool was also very unpleasent.. Its time to remodel the pool aera and take care of it.. Also the sauna is out of service PERMENTLY.. I wanted to stay somewhere with an indoor pool but looking at it makes you not want to get in..

Our room was not very clean and we had plumbing issues with the shower, but the manger was very good about making it up to us. I think we had a fluke bad experience. I was happy with the way it was fixed. I would try this hotel again.

My wife and I, in town for a church conference, were very well pleased with HIE! The staff was very friendly, the room very clean and the bed very comfortable. Slight smell of smoke in the non-smoking room, but tolerable. Convenient to everything, but I know everyone will be glad when the road construction is completed! PS: our compliments to the breakfast cook! Delicious!!

it was very bad experience. poor food, poor location , no services, poor internet, poor staff.
the person in charge had made a big argue with my guest due to non clear policy and used non professional words.
I'm a frequent traveler to griffin since I'm working with CATERPILLAR local dealer and I need to host visitors their. Simply , i will not do it again and I'll stay in Atlanta next time as usual.

Good place to stay, clean, and comfortable beds. Rooms need to be updated and my room was a little smelly. Old bathroom.
