Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent choice This was an excellent choice for my first time to Mexico. The breakfast bar was unbelievable: fajitas, refried beans, chilaquiles. The staff was extremely helpful. Jose Luis helped me book a tour to Tequila. Julio in the dining area, always brought me a napkin and quickly took away used dishes. The three cab drivers that I had were all honest and didn't overcharge or do loops around the block like some others do. There were computers with intenet although the internet is extremely slow. The room was very comfortable. The temperature of the shower water was lacking. When I turned water to desired temperature it fluctuated from hot to cold giving me a slight shock. But I don't think Holiday Inn has any control over that. I imagine that's everywhere in Mexico. This hotel is right across the street from Plaza del Sol which is a shopping center with many shops and eateries including American restaurants such as Chilis and Subway. There is no laundry facility though. I had to wash my socks in the sink. December 15, 2013

I just want to thank the Staff at the Hotel, they really exceded my expectations, the lady at the front desk, made every effort to comply with my requirements and I must say they were fulfilled completely!. The decoration of the hotel is modern and absolutely exquisite! As a IHG Customer I have been in several hotels of the asociated brands around the world, and this hotel qualifies as one of the best, mainly because of the service and the attention I received. She has a very pleasant demeanor and makes people feel relaxed. My only concern is the lighting levels in the rooms are far too low. It was too dark to work or to read a book.
