I recommend this place to family who are moving. Staff here went out of their way to accommodate my family by meeting our need. Even if the building was needing a few change. The room we stayed felt homey which didn't feel to hotel. The entrance and exit was a little tricky. Location is convenient for the surrounding area.

Everyone was so friendly and nice, they went out of their way to answer questions. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

The room is a little small, and the desk chair is low, but it was spotless and the staff could not be nicer. It was a pleasant stay for the price. Breakfast is just so so...but, again the price is right. I would stay there again.

Location, location, location. This site has it all for the business or leisure traveler. Lots of dining choices and assorted shopping nearby. Easy access to the greater Norfolk area. The rooms are smaller than I'd expected, but the desk and chair were fine and the property is fresh feeling.

I have stayed at hundreds of Holiday Inns over the last decade, this one had all the modern features. It seemed like I was the very first person to stay in that room. Very clean and quite. Elevator was alittle tricky, the doors would stay open for a few seconds then would try to close. I did not see an inspection certificate. Many shopping areas within walking distance. Entering the hotel from the interstate was not a problem. but if you went east and returned to the hotel a u-turn had to be proformed. I will stay there again.

We are having work done on our house and needed a place for one night while paint was drying. It would also give us a chance to check out the new HI Express for future out of town guests. We were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely recommend it.

The employees were very attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to a lot of stores. The only issue I had was with the elevators, but being newly opened I am sure they will get those kinks worked out. I will stay there again when I visit the area.

My family and I were very comfortable at this hotel. The room was very clean and well kept throughout our stay. The bedding made for a restful sleep. The staff was extremely friendly and very hospitable. We would recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Hampton to anyone looking for a good, clean, reasonably price hotel in the Hampton Roads area. Our only regret was that the pool closed at 9:00pm; much earlier than any other hotel that we've stayed in.

The Hotel was excellent. I had a wonderful stay with the exception of my car being broken into. My weapon was stolen and a few other personal items gotten stolen as well. The security guard was helpful at apprenending the crimals. I have just never had anything happen like this at a Holiday Inn property.

I was here for a month's time for military training. I checked in the day after the Grand Opening. The staff was AMAZING, the hotel was very clean, housekeeping was friendly. Overall, it was the best experience I've had at a hotel yet......and I've stayed in a LOT of them being military! The location couldn't be any better! Target and a shopping plaza is right across the street. Waffle House is basically in the hotel parking lot too. They didn't have washer/dryers......yet. They were working on getting them in while I was there....no big deal. Breakfast was always something to look forward to as well. Hot breakfast with rotating menu......mini-omlettes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, ham, cinnamon rolls, pancakes and cereal.
