本来我是预定了周末两个晚上两个房间，但是由于糟糕的房间气味和整洁程度我不得不临时更改计划，只住了一个晚上。第一大问题就是气味，我预订了无烟房，但是其中一件有较明显的烟味，另外一件也有令人不愉快的气味，像是年久失修。第二个问题是房间的整洁程度：大床房的被单不干净，泛黄，让人怀疑是否有更换过，我们浴室带有浴缸，但是浴帘底部甚至有霉斑并伴有臭味。
这是我非常糟糕的一次入住经历。

假日酒店各地质量良莠不齐，但杭州这家还是不错的，无论是房间舒适度还是早餐，乃至地段都是性价比很高的选择，很好！

The lobby and room are reasonably good. The staff (especially the female staff) are pleasant and polite. Breakfast is excellent (and is free)!
The bathroom in the room smells. Despite I have asked the cleaner to clean it again and try to remove the smell, the odour persisted (perhaps this is a local hygienic issue). The cleaner and female staff have tried their best in their service. Thank you!

Hotel is reasonably pleasant with a nice lounge area. Certainly good value for the money paid. The location may have been good once but several large flyovers have made the area quiet and rundown. Several shops are up for sale due to low pedestrian traffic. Across the road is a bus stop where one can take buses to most major places in Hangzhou for just 1 Yuan.
The room is not well lit for some reason and the wardrobe design leaves much to be desired. Clothes on hangers need to be hung from front to back which is a silly design.
I booked my room through a hotel booking site and, therefore, was not eligible for Priority points. This seems unfair as the points, I had thought, were for loyalty. Another downer was that taxis had to be booked at the Crowne Plaza, a sister hotel, next door. Even tickets to shows had to be booked there.

Room is perfect however, the breakfast is not good though it is free.

Decent enough with almost everything you need for a simple basic business or leisure stay.
Free breakfast is definitely the highlight with the selection comparing to other holiday inn express elsewhere
If the room is close to highway, might be a bit too noisy for those who is very sensitive to it, though I'm perfectly fine.
Room is a bit old and dim, bed is only queen size which seems to be a bit small.
Desk is a bit too small as well, can't spread things out.
Some rooms only have bathtub, no shower
Hope to have soap, very inconvenient to use the 2-in-1 showergel + shampoo.

正在上洗手间，突然有人在外面敲门，还没来得及回答（两秒以内）门突然开了。。。。。。是服务员。这样似乎不太好吧！下楼跟前台说这事，前台说，哦，不好意思。

Frankly, when arrived to hotel and found that it is just located just beside a multi layer of highway (Just look from the window, you can see all the car driving pass even at high floor) I'm have a great concern of the quiet of the room.
Hwoever, surprisely, when go into the room at Level 6 (just the same height of the leveled highway), it is very quiet. I can see all the car passing by but just cannot hear any nosie.
Other is alsmot standard in Holiday Inn chain hotel.
