Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't say enough! We had been experiencing one headache after another on an unplanned trip to Baltimore due to a family emergency. Rooms were in short supply. Finally, after 10:00 PM, was able to get rooms needed at BWI airport Holiday inn express. Counter attendant Marlo was a sea of calm while craziness whirled around. While dealing w ith a Pinochle tournament, a family reunion and a broken elevator all at once on a hot summer night, she calmly and politely handled our check-in, despite a credit card issue, The next day she made arrangements so we just had to call and have rooms ready for us the next night as well since we were not sure when we left the next morning if we would be going home or staying. We had to stay and the rooms were all set when we got back. It may seem like this should happen at most hotels without much thought or question, but I can tell you it does not. We were extremely grateful for her help, courtesy and calmness. The rooms were clean comfortable and quiet as usual, and the elevator was repaired the next morning. Kudos! July 7, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service; convenient location; and comfortable bed At check-in, the receptionist acknowledged my Priority Club or I should say IHG Rewards membership. On learning that I was thinking about returning my rental car the evening before my morning flight out of BWI, she told me to call the hotel and they would send the hotel shuttle to the rental car center to pick me up. I did not need to get on the rental car shuttle to the terminal as that would take forever. The evening that I checked in, there was a Manager's reception for hotel guests, which included hors d'ouevres, a decent selection of beers, white & red wine, and soft drinks. After a very long day of meetings and travel, that was just what I needed. The property seems quite new, and my room was spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable. My only quibble (and this is minor), was the selection of TV channels seemed a bit limited. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. The evening that I dropped off my rental car, the shuttle took a little longer than advertized, but the driver was extremely apologetic and explained that traffic around the terminal had been very heavy. Shuttle driver next morning to the airport was very polite, and loaded and off-loaded all my bags. Location of the hotel is convenient to BWI, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. A big shopping center is only a mile or so away. I would recommend this HI-Express to anyone. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Late Shuttle and no follow-up times 2 Called hotel for the shuttle, operator said it would be about 5 minutes. 1/2 hour later I called asking where is the shuttle. he said it would be another 5 minutes. When I got to the hotel I explained that was the 2nd time in two weeks that the shuttle took 1/2 hour to and hour to be picked up. Manager said he would credit my platinum account for 2,000 points. Never got the points, wrote IHG about this and never got a response. I guess they just say they are going to be customer friendly and hope you never follow up on their promise. July 3, 2013

Everything from restaurants and shopping to office supplies and car rental. The room is clean the staff is fast and professional and they run a shuttle service to local restaurants and the mall. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would stay again. We stayed one night in the Holiday Inn Express due to an early flight the next morning. It was great having the airport shuttle so we could return our rental car the evening before our flight and to take us to the airport in the morning. The shuttle was very prompt. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and informative. The Wifi strength was great and the password was easily provided. The breakfast was good. ( Loved the biscuits and gravy). The staff did a great job in keeping the food supplied and keeping the tables cleared and clean. My only suggestion is to have a few more options of fruit other than just apples. Thank you for doing a great job! June 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unsprung Roll Away Everything was great with the staff and the room except the roll away bed. The springs or wire that support the mattress were broken resulting in a saggy, uncomfortable mattress. It might be time for that one to be replaced. June 15, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AC Did Not Work Air conditioning did not work upon arrival. After installing 2 different units we finally got in our room after 10:00 pm. The manager was rude and unapologetic about the whole thing. I will not stay at this HI Express again. June 4, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Life saving attitude of the front desk I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express BWI checking in on Thursday May 9 and checking out on May 10th. At approximately 9pm I attempted to call the front desk for a wake up call for the following morning. There was a problem with the phone and I couldn't hear the Desk Manager or they hear me. I attempted to call again a couple more times only to have the same problem with the phone. I gave up and set the alarm on my phone and proceeded to get ready for bed. In a few moments there was a knock on my door and after verifying it was a hotel employee they asked me if I was ok as they couldn't reach me on the phone. I assured them I was and they brought in a new phone. This kind of concern and Customer Service is rare today. There may have really been a problem and to know that someone cares says a lot. I want to say thanks for helping and whomever was the Manager on Duty I want to thank for his/her concern. A job well done. Sincerely May 22, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Park Fly If you are doing the Stay Park Fly package, be prepared to wait 45 minutes at the airport to be picked up, We had to call twice before they picked us up when they indicated someone would be there in 10-15 minutes. This has happened 2 times in a row. Although the accommodations are adequate, we will not be staying here on our next trip out of BWI. May 13, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice stay! Very clean hotel the staff was very friendly and was very quick to take care of any special needs we had. Had to get a roll away bed for 2nd nights stay (due to a leaking air mattress we brought along for our daughter that had an encounter with a cat, unknown to us) staff had the roll away in our room in less than 10 minutes. Hotel is close to the mall and lots of choices in dining. Denny's is in the same parking lot, very quiet place , enjoyed our stay. Loved the ice water with fresh fruit in it for guest's to enjoy located by the check in desk. Will stay there again. Good location easy access to the highway to DC and Baltimore. April 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quick trip Made a quick trip to Baltimore to go to theater. Room was pretty comfortable; however, we got in close to midnight and wanted to hit the sack. We quickly plugged our phones into the lamp to charge and got into bed, only to realize in the morning that the outlet did not work and our phones were now dead. Would be nice if hotel staff checked to make sure that the light works when cleaning the room. Also in the morning there were no cinnamon rolls ready when we got to breakfast; asked the lady if she had any ready and when she brought them out they were warm - not hot. But otherwise a nice stay. Not real close to airport if that is your true purpose - we basically used it just to sleep and to drop my son off at the MARC station. April 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was worth it all! After struggling with a stopped up toilet after I got there, the experience and staff was very good. I can't say enough about the comfortable bed and nice room. I stay in the suite and it was nice and not costly. They have a small get tother for guest in the lobby on Thursday evening, but I wish it was nightly. Hotel is close to mall, casino and Dennys is attached at the hip literally. The negative is that it's a small but busy hotel. Almost seem as though you are processing cattle at check-in. I have stayed at higher quality hotels, but this staff is first class and above any that I have met. April 15, 2013

We called the desk three times and I went next door and knocked on the door and told the man we could not sleep. It was after 4:00 a.m. before it got quiet. Noise levels were very loud....... Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay You have a good atmosphere in your hotel. Front desk clerk was a little overwhelmed maybe because of understaffing when I arrived. Electricity was out for about an hour but I won't hold that against you. You've had the same password for the hotel Internet for the better part of a decade. Is this necessary? I noticed a guest needed a high chair and there was only one on the premesis which was already being used. I like the "wheel" I get to spin for being a Priority Club Member. The room did have a bit of a different odor which may have been cigarette smoke. Seemed to disappear as the trip went on. April 2, 2013

Bored almost to the point of being rude, Also there was a party on the fourth floor and alot of noise and running and yelling and it lasted most of the night.
