Have stayed at this hotel many times and although it's not that old it's getting tired. Breakfast was almost as good as always except the buns that i dream of were just warm. Six trays were in the warmer and the breakfast lady seemed more interested in putting her food delivery away. Hotel was full, dining room at 7am was full and she had other interests. Hardeeville is our 2nd night on a 1500 mile trip. We'll go a little further next time.

We stayed at this hotel two week before this visit at the beginning of our trip. The staff at check in were wonderful. However, on this visit, it was almost as if we were an interruption and inconvience to them. My mother remembered cookies being available and asked about them. The man at the desk barked out, cookies were only available mon to thurs. It was the way it was said. The warmth of reception wasn't as nice for this return visit. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. The lady in the breakfast area provided wonderful service and assisted my mother. check out was fine.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great, but the motel needs an update and the bottom of the shower curtain was covered with black mildew/mold. Great Mex restaurant nearby.

The room was beautiful. The only issue I had was upon entering the room the room smelled very strongly of dirty diaper. The housekeeper sprayed the room with deodorizer, but the smell lingered. I was compensated for the smell, but I was not impressed with being told that if I wanted to move rooms I would have to pay an extra 20.00 on top of everything I was already paying. Then my husband tried getting online with our computer and it was Extremely slow. It would have been nice to be informed that the internet was being worked on so we would have known. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

We travel the I 95 corridor frequently and have stayed at numerous HI Express locations between FL and VA, with complete satisfaction. This, however, is our third (and last) stay at this hotel. First stay, pet friendly room not available as requested on reservation; second stay, wrong room assigned with no vacancy for correct room; last stay, again wrong room - we reserved king leisure non smoking and received two queen handicapped room. We didn't complain about the wrong room when arriving, just chalked it up to another bad experience here. It was later in the evening, and we didn't feel like dealing with a change. Next morning, we attempted to use the bathroom and found that the toilet was non-functioning after using it. The flush handle did not work at all. I had to remove the back lid and manually flush the toilet. It never did really flush correctly, and, since we were in a hurry to get on the road, we had to use the restrooms in the lobby before leaving. The room attendant MUST have known the toilet wasn't functioning when last cleaning it, yet did nothing to correct. I also did not receive and IHG Rewards Club welcome packet upon arrival, even though I identified myself as an IHG member.

i would never stay here again. mistakes are one thing, dirty is quite another. There is NO excuse for not making your rooms appealing and keeping them clean. Leaving coffee spills on the floor of the bathroom, cracked and chipped coffee pot still with coffee in it, and old sheets on the bed is just irresponsible and disgusting. Unfortunately, it also speaks volumes about your lack of responsibility to the consumers. needless to say, not only will I never return, I intend to make my displeasure and disgust known.

Everyone at Holiday Inn Express, Hardeeville-Hilton Head was absolutely great! We arrived at Holiday Inn Express in the middle of the night after a big disappointment at another hotel. We were so pleased to be treated so well and have a clean and comfy bed. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The room was nice and clean. We only planned on staying there one night but everything was so nice we stayed another night! I highly recommend this hotel!
