Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Night 2 For me this was a excellent stop over, modern hotel and value for money. Two minor issues but not the end of the world 1. Parking was £3.00 and no back door entrance to the carpark 2. Breakfast was let down by the sausages, there was a smell and taste to them, cheap meat August 17, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Great Stay We were glad to see that the pillows have been sorted (when this hotel first opened last year, pillows were tiny and in very short supply). The breakfast choice was good, but the scrambled eggs were obviously reconstituted dried egg. Also, for a UK hotel where is the bacon. Plenty of sausages every morning, but no bacon - Why? You could alternate bacon/sausages each day, as they did in other HIE hotels in Canada, where we went before coming back to the UK. Staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. August 13, 2014

The room was large enough for me, and was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and modern with excellent fascilities. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and also the evening meal. Thanks to all of the staff. I enjoyed staying with you. August 12, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Harlow July 2014 The beds were very comfortable the room facilities were adequate for an over night stay. The bathroom was a good size especially the spacious shower. Despite closing the appropriate door when showering, a lot of water was on the floor of the bathroom. After reading reviews, I was very disappointed with the buffet selection. It seemed limited compared to other Holiday Inn's. There was a minimal fruit selection, no bagels, muffins, bacon, mushrooms or tomatoes and only one choice of egg. No cups were out on either side and eventually after finding a member of staff, it seemed as if no staff were aware which items needed to be refilled, as we also had to ask and then wait for again for cutlery. However, we did find the reception staff pleasant, welcoming & helpful. July 31, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Eeek! Got into my room - got unpacked and changed, ready to go out. On leaving, found out that the latch on my door wasn't working and anyone could walk in at any time (yikes!# Phoned reception and eventually got moved to another room. #pack up, and unpack again# When we ate in the restaurant, the food was average to overcooked - ended up eating elsewhere. Of the limited hot items for breakfast each day some of those were missing, so ended up having breakfast elsewhere too. Also, it may be normal, but not keen on having to walk through reception to an 'ironing' room to sort out my shirts #maybe I'm just used to getting a iron and doing it in my room# Staff were friendly and polite though.
