Nice hotel, a little out of the way. Would stay here again. It meant all our needs.

The fitness center was inadequately equipped. The equipment was out dated and there were no free weights. The one decent piece of equipment usually was occupied causing my wife to have to wait to work out which delayed the time spent at the amusement park and our family. Additionally, the shower continuously squealed while in use which made it difficult for anyone to fall asleep while my family members were showering. Though the breakfast bar was usually busy every morning, there was always not enough ham, biscuit, or eggs to go around. There was always a wait, or my wife and I would have to alternate in making trips back downstairs to get whichever breakfast item we wanted that was out. Lastly, the wait for the elevator during peak times was undesirable. The elevator seems to small for the number of rooms the hotel has.
After tweeting her dissatisfaction with the hotel, my wife was contacted by the hotel manager. The hotel manager seemed reluctant to do anything to rectify the dissatisfaction my wife had with the hotel room, even shifting fault on to us for not notifying them of our noisy shower sooner. If the hotel rooms are quality inspected, then the squealing shower should have already been identified by management/maintenance/housekeeping. The owner offered solutions that did not benefit myself or my family, only apologies and future plans which did not help us during our stay. My wife had to ASK for some time of compensation for the inconveniences and dissatisfaction experienced, and even then it was just 10% off our total bill. The manager's stance, shifting blame on to us for not telling us something he should've already known, and our negative experience makes it unlikely we will stay at a Holiday Inn Express again, ESPECIALLY not this location.
Lastly, the Wi-Fi was highly unreliable. Even after we entered the wi-fi code, our devices still said we weren't connected to the internet. The printer in the fitness center also did not work. I had to email my tickets to the front desk person and ask them to print them out.
