It's a bit alarming when a hotel posts signs in its parking lot reminding guests to remove all valuables from their cars and claim no responsibility for damage to vehicles. Those warnings often mean the hotel is either located in a higher-than-average crime area or doesn't have a very strong security perimeter. The front desk staff during my stay was professional and courteous, far better than most hotels where I've stayed. The first assigned room smelled of a strong chemical cleanser or rug shampoo. I moved to a second room that also smelled of a chemical but the odor was weaker. The hotel's cleaning chemical and the parking lot security issues were weak spots in what was otherwise a nice stay. Very clean, comfortable, spacious rooms and wonderful breakfast. Every employee we encountered was courteous and very friendly. One of the best we've stayed in. September 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable bed and friendly, efficient personnel. The room was clean and quiet. No sound from TV's next door or people talking or walking up and down the hall. Beds were comfortable. Service was outstanding - efficient and friendly. The night we checked in there was a reception and food (sandwiches, chips, soft drinks and cookies) was served. I cannot remember that ever happening before. What a treat!!! August 25, 2013

The hotel is great, with comfortable rooms and great breakfast, but overall the staff is the most likely reason I'd want to head back here. They were so helpful with a first aid kit with an unexpected injury. They were also so helpful with sights in the surrounding cities. Oh my I could go on an on! A must stop by place! July 26, 2013

The breakfast is delicious, and every tuesday night they have a managers reception. I was able to save much of my per diem thanks to all the free food! The staff is super friendly and willing to help above and beyond the call of duty. The amenities are plentiful and all free. This isn't an expensive hotel so the value is excellent. April 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Local Getaway I went to the Holiday Inn Express for a local getaway. This was by far the best hotel experience that I've had in a while. The room was spotless and the and the breakfast was delicious!! The entire staff from houskeeping to the front desk were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express. Although the price was a little higher than normal, due to all the events going on, it was worth it. April 19, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff goes the extra mile I have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns over the past several years and I can not remember a staff that was willing to insure my every need was met. From relocating me to a room that better met my needs to opening the pool area so I could enjoy the mild temperatures of that evening. Every staff member greeted me and the room was in excellent condition. Definitely placed on my FAVORITE LIST March 14, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Train your staff to recognize mildew smell and maintenance needs. The room smelled badly of mildew. The room itself was nice enough, no complaints about the staff. However, the mildew smell was overpowering. And by the way the toilet seat was loose, how could cleaning staff miss that and not report it to maintenance. February 15, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Not bad but there are better choices. I stayed for two weeks on a business trip. The facility was clean and the staff friendly. If your stay involves more than a couple of nights there are only two clothes washers and two clothes dryers for the entire hotel. And one of the dryers was broken for my entire stay. When you run a hotel replacing a broken basic clothes dryer is not a major investment. There was no ice machine on the third floor. And the elevator is the slowest I have ever seen. Most people just utilized the stairs instead of enduring the long wait. The breakfast was standard for a Holiday Inn Express, nothing outstanding. I would not discourage someone from staying if they are a fan of Holiday Inn, but other people in my business group who stayed at other hotels in the area experienced better facilities and better amenities. The were super nice, informative about local attractions, and just GREAT!. They helped us with a Birthday surprise. Also our batteries ran out they gave us new ones. They greeted me as a platinum member and gave us each gift bags.. I could go on but they are the best. I have stayed at Holiday Inn's in the US and Europe but seriously this staff at this location needs to be cloned for every Holiday Inn in the WORLD!!! December 11, 2012

The motel is located within walking distance of several restaurants and the staff will give you recomendations and directions to many other dining options. The rooms are well appointed and very clean with comfortable beds. When in the area, this is the only motel I will stay at. November 9, 2012
