As a regular traveler, I always appreciate my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hastings. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff are pleasant and responsive to needs. Never had any problems with noise or anything else. This is my inn of choice in Hastings.

I have been a guest at this hotel several times over the past 3 or 4 years. I meet other 'business' guests who also return to this hotel when they are working in the area. The staff remember returning guests and make them feel welcome. Breakfasts and the evening 'Manager's Special' are warm and friendly. I particularly like the cleanliness of the whole facility.

Always look forward to the delicious cinnamon rolls. On the morning of this vist all the cinnamon rolls were dry and in varying stages of warmth. 4 trays had been set out. When it was brought to the attention of the staff, as I was checking out, it was met with disbelief and that this had never happened before. Leaving me with the feeling that staff was doubting complaint. Staff evenetually offered to warm up some rolls, continuing to express doubt, that this took place. Did not accept offer, had already ate something else.
Also shared that the Maple Oatmeal packet contents had settled to the bottom, was caked, and also dry.

All the people/staff are friendly, they remember returning guests and are happy to see them. The facility seems like new even though it is several years old. The breakfast bar and evening Managers Special are great and give you the feeling you are a welcomed guest. The facility is kept very clean even when they have been booked full several days.

Everything very clean, neat. No smoking room was *truly* non-smoking (no stale smell or strong air "freshener"). Very pleased.

This is an amazing place to stay. We are greeted like family returning home! The staff goes above and beyond to create a warm and inviting place to relax. The lounge is a great place to kick back and watch a football game on the big screen television. We love to sit on the sofa and order in pizza. We did this during our last visit and the staff offered paper plates, napkins and utensils and even brought us a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert! We have stayed here numerous times and we still get new ideas of things to do or places to eat in the Hastings area. We love it here!

One of my favorite hotels to stay in. One issue; I needed an accessible room and from all reserving issues thought I had one. A room was not available. I would suggest the hotel be sure it has that type of room for someone who needs it. Also, would suggest some type of non-skid surface in the bathtubs.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last Monday evening. We were able to enjoy the manager's happy hour with the appetizers and beer. The yound lady that was serving everyone the wine and beer was absolutely delightful. Very friendly and sweet..
She also was very helpful in helping us decide where to go for dinner, bringing us menus from a few resturaunts close by. I hope the manager of this Holiday Inn Express realizes what a wonderful asset she is to the hotel.. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. I would stay again at another Holiday Express.. Thank You Sue

Staff needs to keep someone behind the front desk instead of coveying up like quail in the office gossiping and shooting the breeze. Both times I stayed there I had to call out "Hellooooo... anybody home?" to draw one of them out from their hidey hole.
When I suggested they keep at least one person out front, they reacted negatively and clammed up - they had been remonstrated and didn't like it. What is the manager at that unit doing? A very poor job in my estimation.

Everyone was welcoming and helpful, they were even able to find us safety pins for my nephews pants! the pool and hot tub were great and I'll definitely make it a point to stay there every time I need to go to Hastings.

This is a great hotel, I stay for a couple of nights a quarter and have had nothing but great stays from the quality rooms to the friendly service to the great happy hours and breakfasts, this is a top notch hotel that anyone would find to be a positive experience.
