My stay at Holiday Inn Express, LAX Hawthorne was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and respectful.
The gentleman who operated the shuttle bus from the airport and back was very friendly, respectful and very helpful. He had all kinds of information about IHG Reward Program.
A couple of things would be nice if changed, however would not affect my staying at this hotel in the future. I would like to see stains removed from the carpet and matching over head light bulbs, as well as, breakfast room staff paying a bit more attention to guests rather than chatting with one another in a corner. It would also be nice if there was an egg option for breakfast. These are minor issues and would not keep me from coming back.

Check in staffs and chefs are very friendly and nice. Cookies, tea and coffee provided in the afternoon free of charge. Parking, toiletries, wi-fi and breakfast are all complementary to my stay. The area was not good, but the parking lot required keys to access, the back gate was always locked, and there was always a guard walking in between the hotel complex so I felt very safe and confident. TV channels were adequate. The computers and printers all worked very well. Wi-fi was slow but still worked for me.

It was a very nice and clean room and bathroom, the only problem I had was that the water pressure in the shower was bad. I realized that we are in a drought but that water pressure was awful.
