Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel with AWFUL customer service I really enjoy staying at Holiday Inns, however can easily say this is the worst IHG hotel I have stayed at. Hotel is nice and up-to-date, however the front workers don't understand customer service and are just flat out rude. I will never stay here again, while the hotel is nice, the hotels across the street actually value customers!! October 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast was disappointing The eggs were dried around the edges and the sausage was tasteless. The worst part was they had the little cups of cream instead of a chilled thermos dispenser. When my husband complained to the person supplying the breakfast bar she just shrugged and said "I don't drink coffee, anyway." This was the worst breakfast we have ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff After a long week of business travel I was in town for a seminar that I was hosting the next day. I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Hays and was finally was able to get a decent nights rest. This is a great hotel; a clean, new facility. Attentive staff and bed was comfortable! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Facility First time I have stayed at the Hays HIE. I will be staying at the HIE on my next trip to Hays. I was concerned about the university buses and vans in the parking lot when I arrived Friday afternoon. However, the HIE handled the extra number of visitors. The breakfast bar remained well stocked and adequate seating with the number of college students staying at the facility for cross country and womens soccer. October 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Making the Best out of a Bad Situation! Unfortunately, we were staying in town because of a family member being transferred to the hospital in town. However, the staff did everything in their power to lighten our spirits and accommodate our every need. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend the HI Express in Hays, Kansas! And a very special "Thank you" to Natalie for EVERYTHING! She was so polite, professional, and courteous and actually made us smile and forget about our stress, even if just for a little while! Only thing I would change is breakfast. I wish they would offer more than one meat choice each morning. I do not like sausage and it disagrees with my stomach. The same with the little omelets: I wish they made some with and some WITHOUT vegetables as I do not like vegetables. So the second day, I didn't eat breakfast because it was biscuits with sausage gravy, sausage as the meat, and omelet with veggies. October 17, 2014
