Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Madrid. You’ll soon be relaxing over hearty Spanish wines and sampling local cheeses in historic Plaza Mayor.
Our Madrid hotels are an easy Metro ride away from Plaza Mayor, in the heart of the city. The city’s most spectacular historic attractions radiate from this colonnaded plaza. Head west to explore the richly colored frescos and tapestries of the Royal Palace, bordered by the meticulously manicured gardens of Campo del Moro. Nearby, the Monastery de las Descalzas Reales, once an elaborate palace, has safely sequestered noblewomen-turned-nuns since 1559. East of the Plaza Mayor is the Prado, one of the world’s finest museums, housing a breathtaking array of artworks by Goya, El Greco and other European masters.
Satisfy your appetite Madrid-style, sipping cerveza negra (black beer) and sampling small plates of savory mushrooms, chorizo sausage and manchego cheese at local tascas (taverns). Our hotels in Madrid are close to Old City restaurants with inexpensive menus or daily prix fixe specials. Dig into steaming pans of seafood paella or Basque ravioli with crayfish in restaurants around Plaza Mayor. Spend the evening sipping Spanish wine—a fruity Tempranillo, perhaps, or a glass of fragrant sherry—as you’re entertained by the twirling skirts and rhythmic castanets of flamenco dancers.
Book a stay at our hotels in Madrid to feast on Spain’s artistic and royal heritage in the heart of its capital city. You’ll lose all track of time as you wander the narrow cobbled streets of the historic center, examining priceless artworks by day and sampling local delicacies in atmospheric tascas by night.

easy commute from Airport by Renefe train C1 . Cost effective shopping centre behind the hotel. Warm welcome by excellent staff as they pay attention to our need and very quick response. Staff explains in detail how to go around Madrid. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good. Dinner lady was very helpful. No noise of traffic. Good sleep. We recommend to stay here instead of noisy city centres. Very safe even in late mid night out side hotel. We have pleasant surprise from the staff on my Birthday during my stay. Excellent customer service.
Need to update décor of the room. Need to make toilet sound proof as you can hear people and noise of water from next door from toilet on other side. Carpet in room should be updated.
Over all our stay was comfortable and would like to come back again [Less]
I liked the convenience of the Alcorcon train and metro station to the hotel (5 min. walk). However, the food options are limited to the restaurant next door and the food places in a mall that is 5[More]

The biggest issue with this hotel is the lack of self-laundry. We asked if there was an on-site self laundry and was told there was. We found out there was laundry but it was not self laundry and it was very expensive. One undergarment was 2 euros! We washed our clothes in our room. It made things a bit difficult! [Less]
