Kick off your Philadelphia hotel stay with a visit to Center City, one of the biggest business districts in the U.S. and a popular tourist destination, thanks to an abundance of shopping, dining and entertainment options. The observation deck at City Hall offers great views of the Philly skyline, and the celebrated Art Museum District, where you’ll find the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Academy of Natural Sciences, Franklin Institute and Rodin Museum, is a short walk or trolley ride away. Looking to brush up on your American history? Then a trip to Independence Mall is definitely in order. See the Liberty Bell up close or take a tour of Independence Hall, the birthplace of American democracy. There are dozens of landmarks and historical buildings in this area, so set aside a couple of hours – if not a whole day – for sight seeing, then stick around after dark and watch the Old City come alive with restaurants, bars and night clubs.
Of course, no visit to our Philadelphia hotels is complete without sampling the city’s most famous culinary offering – the Philly cheese steak. It’s sold all over, but most will argue that you have to go South Philly for the real thing, and Pat’s King of Steaks is where this gooey, cheesy steak and onion sandwich was born. Round out your Philadelphia hotel stay with tickets to a big game. With several professional sports teams calling Philadelphia home, including the Phillies, 76’ers, Eagles, and Flyers, this town is made for sports enthusiasts.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Easter Long Weekend. I had planned to stay at another location but my husband insisted on this location. No regrets. Everything nearby. It was our special[More]
anniversary and never had been to Philadelphia before. The beds were really comfortable and the towels were really thick. What I didn't like was the toilet was really close to the door; however the sink was outside for convenience. Also I found the room to be on the warm side; but then my husband didn't notice. I did not hear any street noise. You have to go to the Reading Market. We bought Hope's cookies for the girls. Also there was a free shuttle to the casino a few blocks away. Parking was 23 dollars a day and we left the car in garage until checkout. [Less]
Was here for my daughter to tour the University of Pennsylvania. Perfect hotel for our needs.
Only cons were:
Bathroom faucet (in sink) was at a very awkward angle.
Literally couldn't access the[More]
water coming from it because the faucet itself was set so far back!
Think someone pulled the fire alarm and we were all told to vacate the hotel during breakfast.
Otherwise, the hotel staff was very polite and helpful! [Less]
We stay here every time we attend a ball game. Love that we can walk to the stadium. Nothing fancy, but always clean and the front desk staff has always been very friendly. Also like that you can[More]
