Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not perfect, but still new We stayed on a Friday night while our daughter was visiting Carroll College. So, it was my wife and I and our 16 year old son. Rented a King suite. As suite's go, it is not huge, but just fine for the three of us. As compared to the same suite in the Coeur d'Lane HIE, the room was quite a bit smaller, but still plenty. Being new, the rooms and hotel are very clean and shiny. The front desk staff was very nice and provided us bottles of water upon check in. We were in a huge rush as we only had a couple of minutes for us to change and get back to the college for an event and they had the kids our room key and they were off to the room before I finished the check in, very nice of them to work with us on that. Once we were back to the hotel, we hit the hot tub and pool, both of which were nice and had lots of towels at the pool. A couple of small issues, the room included no bedding for the fold out bed and when we tried to call down to the front desk, we found out the phones didn't work. So, off we went to the front desk and they women there apologized and provided us extra points for our Rewards Club account, never asked for them, but thought it was more than fair. We just kept our cells on and ready to go for phones and they had us bedding in less than 5 minutes, very well done! The breakfast bar is pretty slim compared to other HIE, but it was fine. Though they have some kinks to work out, this hotel is worth the money. We will be using them again in the future as our daughter has decided to attend Carroll. February 26, 2014

Prefer to stay in this chain but may get a better price at other hotels when coming for events at the local college. January 12, 2014
