We truly enjoyed our stay. Initially we were to stay one night but changed our mind and stayed 2 nights so we could explore the history of the area. Rooms were very clean, Hotel staff wonderful at front desk while working Christmas Day, and breakfast had many dietary options.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bridge82 Comfortable, well maintained, friendly staff.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by our visit. As a smaller hotel for the chain on the outskirts of a relatively small city, we weren't sure what to expect. But the hotel interior was cheerful and clean, the staff very friendly, and the room pleasant. Front Desk, Breakfast, and Housekeeping staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JJH76 Comfortable, clean hotel - served its purpose
We traveled to Henderson KY to stay at this hotel for a wedding next door at Audubon Park. We chose Holiday Inn even though it was a bit more expensive than other nearby options, but Holiday Inn had an indoor pool. This paid off, as we had a full day to wait around with young kids before the 3pm wedding, so I'd say the pool (even though tiny and shallow) was worth the increased prices. We rented two rooms for two nights each for my immediate and some extended family.
Our stay was comfortable and the hotel served its purpose. It was very clean (both the guest rooms and the common areas like lobby, pool and breakfast room). The front desk staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great - there were many choices, including both hot and cold food. The biscuits and gravy were a big hit with my family, as were the pancakes. There was an automatic pancake making machine - you hit a button, and a pancake flops out about 30 seconds later. The kids in the family got a real kick out of that. There were also scrambled eggs, various pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc., so you could eat a hearty breakfast before a big day.
Some negative experiences:
There were no rollaway beds available, so my 10 year old nephew who decided to stay with us had to sleep on the floor. We had sort of planned for this and counted on there being more than one rollaway bed in the entire hotel.
The traffic is dangerous - you cannot turn left on the busy highway in front of the hotel, so if you are out and about a lot this can be problematic.
The internet was down the entire weekend, from Friday evening through Sunday morning. I would have been in trouble had I needed to work and respond to emails during the weekend.
Finally, the hallways were very noisy (even on the 3rd floor). As we had two young kids under age 5, this could have been rather problematic too.
