Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the attendant at the front desk. I had to travel up to the 4th floor four times (bring my luggage up and down each time) because the key card wasn't activating. The front desk attendant didn't offer to accompany me to make sure I didn't have to keep returning down to the front desk. I ask for possible restaurants and the attendant couldn't find ANY information for me. After spending multiple nights at Holiday Inn hotels in recent months, I am tempted not to return to Holiday Inn for another stay.

I spend between 150 - 175 nights per year in a hotel room. mainly IHG properties and 2 other competitors. BTW - I know I can't mention them by name or the review will be deleted.. learned that last time
As a Platinum member... I was not upgraded .. not sure why maybe policy of independent ownership. I have experienced that before at private owned locations.
They did move me to a "recently renovated" room.. If this is the new look .. it is very disappointing.. old bed and bedding .. same old horrible foam pillows .. cheap plastic laminated furniture has replaced the wood laminated higher quality stuff.. The refrigerator is inside a cabinet.. Let's see - IHG has no clue how refrigeration works or they would know this is a terrible idea. the refrigerator would not cool and overheated and shut itself off.. Good thing was - I had a small cooler and the ice machine down the hall works. bath stained and disgusting. overall very disappointed at the "new direction" of IHG

So many people turn their noses up when I say I stayed at Holiday Inn and I just laugh! They don't know what they're missing. The room was modern, clean, and so comfortable. I love this hotel. But do know that there are a few outliers that need help. This one is awesome. And the antique car is a nice touch.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express a half dozen times in the last three years and it continues to be a great place to stay while I visit my friends in the Nashville area. The breakfast is always enjoyable and saves me time and money. The menu choices are rotated so there is a nice variety as well as comfortable standbys that are always welcome.
The staff is very helpful and maintenance is polite and quick! I had a very nice three night stay and I will return to stay here again! Thanks.

No problems with any of the staff. Great attitude and friendly. Rooms were way out of date. Bathrooms were old and decrepit. Shower pressure and flow was about the best thing to write about. I'm totally burned out on the Express breakfast. The hot choices are disquisting.
