I have been there 20-30 times. rooms are generous size, very clean, tv sets are new HD,,,but they switched to a low level only partial HD service with limited channels. pillows stink..i have told management repeatedly, they barely have any support, are ancient, stuffing is like oatmeal. worst breakfast is below par- coffe is a joke- weak tasteless-useless scrambed eggs are powdered/microwaved with tons of oil- they never digest well bread is lowest grade white or wheat they Actually serve "Army style " "SOS." ! really awful. I used to bear with it as 'free' but since the rates have gone Way Up I walk 2 blocks to a fast food joint and prefer it. May 11, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location Good stay for a Holiday Inn Express. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfectly in between Hermosa and Redondo beaches. Breakfast great as always at HIE. Be sure to request a room on the ocean side (street side was noisy). Also, they must have just cleaned the carpets because they were damp and the room was a little musty. I didn't ask to switch and should have. The workout facility wasn't as nice as other HIEs I've stayed at but sufficient. March 28, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by All about location, less about customer service I stayed at this property to be near the beach and the airport. Not once did the staff ever make me feel welcome. I tried to use the laundry and ran the dryer for two cycles and still wet clothes. I ended up taken them down the street to dry them. When I complained to the staff they just said they would let the management know. How about "we're sorry let us at least refund the money spent on the dryer. This is one of those hotels where the location keeps them busy and they do not need to provide good service. I will stay somewhere else next time. March 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location, good service, walking distance to the beach I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I stayed at a room facing the parking lot, which was absolutely quite. Maid service excellent. Breakfast better than in other hotels that offer free breakfast. Loved the pancake machine. The lady in charge of the breakfast was very friendly and even though breakfast only starts at 6.30 am, you can sneak in a little earlier if you are on a schedule. High speed internet was indeed high speed. Excellent! Only minus, I couldn't find parking a couple of times when I returned back to the hotel later in the evening and there is very limited parking outside the property. February 24, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by After several trys they still can't get it right! Rooms are not consistently cleaned - poor vacuuming, broke two of my razors. Items are missing nearly everyday - towels, glasses, laundry slips and bags. Clock doesn't work properly. Laundry on first two occassions came back wrong - not same day, not on time, not properly finished - after four calls to hotel one of the occurrences. Rates are inconsistent visit to visit and day to day. Have stayed weekly since start of January. February 23, 2013
