The location is good. Fairly easy to get around the area and close to the beach. Very noisy if you have a room facing the street. Parking is a bit of a squeeze. Rooms are decent but style is older.

Perfect, amazing, wonderful.
We were there with 3 kids. It is a very nicely decorated hotel, makes you feel like you are in a upscale, very expensive hotel. It has an upscale feel, but not overpriced at all.
Breakfast was quite decent. Little cheese omelettes, sausage, hardboiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, juices, cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, danishes, make your own pancakes. Coffee is so-so.
Area is perfectly close to all LA attractions.
Pool was adequate, warm on a chilly night. It is enclosed and covered on three sides. Our kids went swimming at 9pm on a chilly night and they were fine.

Nice hotel and rooms the only thing that was weak was the wireless to try and run Ipad and computer caused the system to slow down. Today everyone has multiple devices that they "need" for thier comfort. I do work at the room after dinner and this was annoying at times. But I would go back for work or vacation any time great area for food and fun.

Room and bed: very confortable and quiet.
The power went off at 10pm but that wasn't the hotel's fault.
The breakfast is ok: standard for "express" but I always recommend that fresh fruits be added for us naturalists. Bananas were the only fresh fruit but could have been fresher.
I would stay here again and recommend to others also.

I was visiting the LA area on a business trip. Knowing how much I depise the traffic there, I choose to stay along the coast and commute about 15 miles to my destination, I can avoid most of the freeway traffic, and the commute is on 20 minutes. This is the perfect place to stay. For one, parking is free and plentiful. There are many choices for dining down by the pier. However, the best part is, it is surprising quiet. I am very well rested here and even sleep with the windows open to catch the night air. it is a bit pricey, but worth it. My only negative would be that I had heard the breakfast was above average as compared to other HI properties. I found the breakfast to be pretty typical and comparable to others.

Once again a great stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Good news no surprises which is why I enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Expresses. The rooms were comfortable, clean, Staff was friendly, parking was off the street, and the breakfeast was pretty darn good. Only nit picky thing is the place could use some new carpet in the hallways, but it doesn't take long for carpet to show wear.

We could stay just one block away at our daughter's house and have our own bedroom and bathroom, however the quality of the staff is exceptional and always go that extra step to make our stay a pleasure, starting with the manager, Raven, his assistant, Rudy and all other staff that we come in contact with, up to and including the handy-man, George.In short, a great place to stay.

I truly enjoy staying at the Hilton Express in Hermosa Beach...The staff is always friendly and courteous and willing to help in any way. The room is a great value and the area around the hotel allows many choices for food and entertainment....5 Thumbs Up!

We felt the bed was a little too hard, but everything else was very satisfactory and a good value. The breakfast offered had many things to choose from - more than most hotel breakfasts' typically included with the price of the room.

A nice friendly hotel.
We stayed as a first night stopever an a road trip and enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for the final night of our trip.
The rooms are clean, modern and spacious.
Staff are friendly and helpful and made sure that we were made to feel welcomed and as Priority Club Members provided us with complimentary resfresments on arrival.
Breakfast is the usaul good selection of fresh foods served in a relaxing area.
Will happily return on my next visit to the area.
