Always enjoy the free breakfast. Room had an overpowering smell of men's cologne. Smelled as if an entire bottle had been spilled. Didn't feel the need to switch the room because of it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great express hotel I had a very nice stay here and was treated well by the front desk. I'd stay again. Clean room, good furniture, friendly people. The one thing to know is that there is no pool at the hotel. They say there's a pool on some sites, but the pool is actually located at a fitness club ten minutes away. The shuttle will take you there free, so it's definitely doable. But it's not a hotel pool per se. August 28, 2014

Though it is a bit far from Washington DC, the excellent shuttle service (from 8 am- 10 pm) to the Silver Line, Reston Town Center and Dulles Airport makes the hotel very accessible. The staff up to the GM were all very helpful and caring. We are grateful to all of them. The breakfast was good. The only problem is the elevator: there is only one elevator and it is quite slow. Besides that, the hotel is perfect for business/leisure travels and I recommend it to everyone. August 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location, value for money My experience with Holiday Inn express was extremely pleasant one and I would definitely come here again . The first surprise was the our shuttle Driver Mr EDGARDO who picked up at the airport. He was extremely friendly and helpful and explained a lot of things ,and made you feel so welcome with his warm and friendly attitude. This was continued with Mr VIGNESH at the front desk , who was so very helpful and never minded going the extra step to answer all your questions and attend to our requests, The Location itself is near the airport with the shuttle service (we need to confirm our time of arrival with the front desk) , shopping center and eateries just across the road, a good room with microwave , mini fridge and coffee maker and a big TV. Complimentary breakfast was good and the checkout very quick and smooth. I really enjoyed my stay here especially with the friendliness of the front desk staff , shuttle driver and the Location. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rated 'Good' ...But, would not return unless the facilties had a complete update/refurb Carpets, toilets, bathtubs, tiling, walls, ceiling all in great need of upgrade...looks like they are having the ONE or two maintenance guys (Excellent Man I met) try to refurb the entire hotel (ie management is cutting corners in times of plenty! -- This place stays packed due to flow from Dulles)...Be smart and courageous -- invest...If you want my business in the future... My only suggestions would be to relocate the business center, hard to concentrate setting in the hall way. Notify the Food Delivery trucks that 6 am deliveries to a hotel are unacceptable. The truck backed down the main driveway at 6 am .......... BEEP BEEP BEEP........ the trailer door raised, SLAM......... Not good for sleeping..... June 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location to Dulle Airport The Express hotel was in a good locaton to the airport but far enough away so as not to be disturbed with planes landing and taking off. The shuttle bus was very good although it wasn't made clear that you had to contact then to collect (unlike the Holiday Inn) shuttle which run automatically between the hotel and airport. The staff were very accomodating and advised us of the best way to get into DC even droppingm us off and picking us up from the bus station. Would certainly use again June 27, 2014

You'll definitely appreciate the well maintained establishment and very professional staff to care for your every needs. The shuttle is an excellent service that will cater to your local moves without having to spend additional money on cabs. Running and cycling trails very nearby. Well worth the reduced cost. I also forgot my toothbrush, and they gave me one that did the trick. Very convenient location as well, with a grocery store next door (walkable), and an in-room refrigerator.
