Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Needs some updating desperately! The staff, the property and the overall value were super. The problem was with the room. It had a bad smell in some parts of the room and the furniture, especially the chairs, was worn out. For everything regarding this hotel we could give a 5 star rating except for the carpet cleanliness and the desk chair, other chairs and loveseat/pull-out bed/sofa. These items were in really bad worn-out condition. The hotel really needs to replace these items in order to stay at five-star rating. It is unfortunate that they've let their furnishings get in such shabby shape. If not for this, we'd highly recommend. We love HIE and this unit is a good one, but they need to do something about the funky, dirty and worn out furnishings. Thank you. December 14, 2012

Convenient location, friendly staff, hote was very quiet considering there were several high school wrestling teams there. Could be time to update the beds and carpets but room was very clean overall. Would stay again. December 7, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great overall experience. Friendly and helpful staff. We love this Holiday Inn Express. Wonderful and friendly staff. We felt they truly valued us as customers. Our Exec. King room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The lobby is decorated in tasteful mountain decor. The hotel is near the lake and is close to lots of activities. We can't wait to come back!!
