Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good view of the railroad tracks The train does NOT run at night so the stay is restful and quiet. They do need more handicapped parking. Very helpful staff This is our 2nd stay at this Hotel September 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel Enjoyed our stay very much. Comfortable and clean rooms. Our kids really enjoyed the pool! Great location close to the 1880's train depot. Served a wonderful free continental breakfast with plenty of options. Friendly staff. September 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Delayed housekeeping Overall, this hotel met the cleanliness standard I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. However, as we were staying 2 nights, our plans had included a mid day break at the hotel before further sight seeing. When we returned to the hotel at 2:30, the room was still not cleaned, so we left and returned at 3:30. It was done by 3:30, but this schedule did cause us to alter our intended plans. Further, though I usually enjoy the cinnamon rolls at the breakfast, this time the rolls were so dried out that I tossed it in the trash. This hotel could also use additional luggage carts. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast Area Overall a good location, good hotel. Stopped there as a pitstop on vacation. The only opportunity for improvement at this location would be the breakfast area. It was too small and with a hotel full of visitors we had to eat in the lobby while trying to balance food on our laps. Otherwise the hotel was fine. If the breakfast area could be improved it would be even better. August 31, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff was amazing. We were very comfortable in the suite. I just hoped that when you reserve a suite there would have been more privacy between the living area and the bedroom, as there were 3 of us whom shared a room. Overall our stay was great........ August 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay We really enjoyed the Holiday Inn Express, the three nights we stayed there. It was very close to everything we wanted to see and do in the Black Hills area. The only thing that was troublesome for a Hotel as busy as this one is was the size of dining area. Very very small. We had to eat outside on a picnic table one of the days as all the card tables, TV trays in Lobby were full and limited seating in the dining room were filled as well as twenty people waiting in line to get breakfast. However on the good side, the hostess was really helpful with seating and gave us useful suggestions on what to see and furnished us with a map on short cuts. She was extremely helpful with breakfast arrangements and our visit to Black Hills area. We gratefully Thank her for that. Look forward to returning at a later date with our three grandchildren again. August 21, 2014
