Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 140 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great base of operations during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Chose this property because of its proximity to Mt Rushmore. We were in town for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The staff and hotel were ready for all the motorcycles. They provided parking, hose, bucket and rags to clean bikes each day. Believe it or not the location was quiet except for the bike traffic and the occasional train whistle. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was always fresh each morning and the property is moments away by foot to the grocery store, Subway and Chubby Burger... Downtown Hill City is just about a half mile away. Great property and will stay here again when in Hill City. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Breakfasts Friendly staff. Clean and well furnished facilities. Excellent breakfast, great variety and quick to replenish. August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience! This was a wonderful location to stay in. The proximity to Mount Rushmore and secluded feel was just what we wanted. There is a nearby grocery store for packing meals and snacks for our day trips and the evening strolls along main street were a lot of fun. Highly recommended. August 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location! This was the perfect location base for our trip. Hill City is very nice and close to much of what we wanted to see. Brenda the AM Manger was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. August 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great staff and a perfect matress I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The friendly staff, clean rooms and the pool area was perfect. We don't usually use the pool but we couldn't resist the pool and hot tub! August 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and Clean Best service ever experienced at a hotel; The front desk person, Brenda, walked the breakfast area asking each table where they were going or what they would like to do. She then offered hints like what time to get there, special places to eat at, etc.(she told us the scenic canyon drive to Devil's Tower as well as to leave early to catch the Buffalo as well as the Burros at Custer State Park by taking the Needles Hwy); It was like staying at a bed and breakfast. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Never ran out of items. It was appreciated that the breakfast ended later than some other hotels I have stayed at (9:30am) and they slowly closed it so you could get a 2nd helping if needed. Beds were comfortable and rooms very clean. I even saw they even had rags and cleaning supplies for the motorcycle owners to clean their bikes. Location in Hill City is ideal to reach all the attractions (Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower); You can walk from the hotel to downtown Hill City for dinner or ice cream. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great place. Stayed for Sturgis Bike Rally and really enjoyed this place. Great location and the town was great. Brenda and her staff was wonderful and full of rides knowledge. August 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, good location We like the location of this hotel to Mt Rushmore. The staff was especially friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area is very small, so they have tray tables available and outside seating. Gorgeous area to visit. August 2, 2014
