We stayed here for a wedding and just loved it. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. They knew we were part of the wedding party, even though we had not book with the block of rooms for the wedding, which made the stay feel more personal. They went the extra mile for us when we had a few special requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine but nothing out of the ordinary for a free continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel itself is decent - good location in Hillsboro being near to most things but set back off the main road a bit. Hotel interior and rooms were clean and typical of a Holiday Inn Express. Only bad thing as whirlpool room was closed to renovations (and smelled strongly of chlorine just outside the elevators).
Hotel service was a mixed bag. Check in later in the evening on a Friday was wonderful. Desk manager was thorough, friendly and a pleasure to interact with (significantly better than your average hotel).
The next day? Way down hill. Five year old daughter left her stuffed animal tiger in the bed when we left the room and checked out. Shortly after leaving hotel we realized this and we called and were told that they'd check for it and we should call back again later (nice personal service, eh?). We were not far away, so we swung by about 30 minutes later. The desk manager, Sam, was somewhere between completely disinterested and overtly rude to my wife. He said "nothing yet, but we'll email you if we find it" and then turned his back to her (no other customers to service at the time either). Wife told him that there would be a crushed little girl over this and he ignored her.

We'd stayed in this hotel years ago before it changed names and it's still a good place to stay; quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is available everyday which is nice. There is a variety of things to eat. Still would love to see more home made things instead of instant things, but all in all, a good variety and the taste was good. The room was huge with a king bed and very comfortable. Thanks for the nice stay!

We found the Hotel staff to be very prompt and courteous. Hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was more than adequate. My wife and I especially liked the choice of a soft or firm pillow!!

From the moment we called to make a last minute reservation for my mother-in-law, to leaving the property, the service at this Holiday Inn Express was excellent. Robert, the manager, greeted us warmly, got us settled into rooms that were across the hall from each other, even before the designated time of 3:00 pm, and checked that everything would fulfill our needs. He even let us know that the steps behind the hotel might be difficult for my mother-in-law to get up, so recommended we park in front.
The next morning we witnessed him cleaning tables in the breakfast area and greeting all the guests. The breakfast crew were wonderful. They filled the trays as quickly as possible and were very pleasant.
Only one suggestion: bigger bathrooms

I've stayed at this property many times over the past several years. The rooms are badly in need of upgrades. The air conditioner was noisy, the carpet is worn, and the bathroom faucet was broken.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The room is always very comfortable, hotel staff is always friendly, everything is clean and well lit. They offer a good variety at breakfast with ample seating. It is within walking distance of Orenco with multiple restaurants, a wine bar, and ale house. I recommend staying here to co-workers as I have never been disappointed.

This property exceeds my expectations every time I stay here. The staff is friendly, polite, and unfailingly willing to go out of their way when I need something a bit "offbeat" (most recent example: I needed a room for a conference call; they opened up one of their conference rooms for us at no charge).
All in all, a fantastic experience. Will definitely consider them my "go-to" hotel in Hillsboro.

We were exhausted and couldn't find a place in Washington. After a fortunate turn, we found your hotel WAY OUT OF OUR WAY.
And we're so glad we found you. The room was pleasant. Bed was comfortable. The night clerk was kind to us though the morning clerk was less so. But the experience was overall wonderful, so much so, that we stayed an extra night in a city we had no intention of visiting (and had never heard of) and in a hotel that we happened to find.
The star of your staff by far is Ashley, the person who set up and cleaned up the breakfast. The meal was the best complimentary breakfast we've had (including expensive hotels) and her hospitality went a long way for us. While she worked, we had a chance to talk to her about Hillsboro which caused us to explore and stay another night. She swept the room, making sure all guests were happy with the breakfast, even bringing out a man a cinnamon roll way AFTER the breakfast hours were over. He was late, she was accommodating. She turned a Holiday Inn into a Bed and Breakfast, never once stopping her work, but always taking the time to be sure guests were treated well, like it was her own home.
We find most people do their job, never really thinking about the customer, but Ashley put guests first and we so appreciate it. Please pass this on to her and her manager. I don't tend to write reviews, but she went so far out of her way to represent your hotel well that I thought it needed to be noticed.

This place is very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We asked to be on the top floor, away from the elevator and ice machine and they did that. We checked in at 2:30, got to our room after about a four hour trip and wanted to take a nap and relax. They were doing some remodeling in a bathroom across the hall and we listened to constant banging for 2 hours. Needless to say, I couldn't fall asleep to take that nap. That was a little disappointing. They should do that between 11:00 and 3:00, when guests are the least likely to be checked in. The room itself was great! The bathroom was pretty small. Sink, toilet and shower all in one confined space. There was a fan in the bathroom, but couldn't find a switch, so it got very warm in there between the shower and the blow dryer. Would have liked a seperate sink area, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Bed was comfortable and we slept great. I would stay here again and would recommend this place as well. One really important factor is this place is off the main road and very, very quiet. Never heard any traffic. And a note to anyone who stay in a hotel/motel, hold the door when you close it. They are heavy so they will close, but you don't have to slam it and shake the walls of the room next to yours. It's rude. We close our doors very carefully as to not disturb the neighbors. Even my 16 year old knows this!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast had variety. Great location at Orenco station. Fridge and microwave in room. Wired and wireless internet worked well. Not the cheapest place but they provide a lot for the price. Good for business or temporary stay when moving to the area.

We spent four days at this location and would highly recommend it. It was centrally located and the directions on their website were very clear. To be safe (based on another guest's post) we used our cell phone GPS. We had no problems finding the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was inviting and friendly both at check-in and check-out. In America we think of "continental breakfast" as self-serve cheap pastry, juice & coffee. This continental breakfast was in the line of what you get in Europe with scrambled eggs, omelet, bacon, ham, hot & cold cereal, biscuits and gravy (not in Europe), pancakes, a variety of breads and pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, three juices & coffee. That was THE best bread for toasting. We parked in the rear lot, used our room card to enter the building right next to the elevator. We enjoyed privacy, but at the same time were warmly greeted by other guests when we did encounter them. The heater was easy to use. They didn't have those yucky bedspreads you are afraid to touch. They had a sheet over the duvet that was changed daily. The Direct TV had a lot of variety, including HBO. The shower had various settings and good pressure. The tap water tasted way better than our bottled water in Socal. When we asked the front desk for a map he gave us a real full map. There was USA Today newspaper and a fresh basket of fruit on the lobby table. There was a fireplace and large screen tv in the dining area. The fitness room had a variety of modern, clean equipment with a jacuzzi in the next room and guest towels. There was a business center with computer and printer. Again, I highly recommend this establishment.

The staff at this facility was especially helpful. After checking in we realized that the assigned room would not work for our physical limitation so the staff was very accomodating and arranged for another room which worked out very well. The facility is clean, has secure underground parking, and looks like it has been recently rennovated.

We were greeted by a young lady who works 3 night s a week. She was very friendly and helpful. I extended our stay by 2 days using Priority Club points and then our plans changed so we had to leave after one of those days. I wasn't sure how to get the points refunded, but Robert, who was on duty took care of everything. Robert went over and above making sure everything was done while we ate breakfast. I literally didn't have to worry about a thing.

Very nice hotel but.......I have stayed at this location several times, but only when I get it on a deal. otherwise it's a little to high priced for my travel budget.

These days internet access is critical. I need it to do my work and communicate with family. Internet at this hotel was very slow. I attempted several times to do a video call with my family using Apple FaceTime and it would not work. I called the 800 # for Internet support and they pointed out that the hotel had limited each connection to a very slow speed. A business hotel like this needs to prioritize their internet connection and speed for their visitors.
