I had a room with two queen beds the mattress's on both were wore completely out. the maid service was not very good either..... examples are the beds were not made up in a neat and orderly fashion, garbage not removed from the room daily. I have been staying at HIE for quite sometime, but i will think twice the next time.

Our visit was excellent until we checked out. I discovered we were being charged about $20 more for the last 2 nights than the first. Price would have been fine IF I had known. Yes, I signed a paper after the desk clerk had to change i because of a mistake. I didn't read it, just signed. She never mentioned it would be more.
When I discovered this when we checked out I was told the manager would talk to me at 7 am. She/he did not come in. Then I was told she/he would call me. I have not heard from anyone yet.
This is unfortunate because everything else was really very, very good.
Also, the same clerk told us she would sign us up for Priority Club Membership. As far as I know, we have heard nothing from that either.

I will always stay here if I'm in this area because the sevice, people, comfort and experiemce was all excellent.

I am a frequent guest at this HIE. I have many hotel choices in Chattanooga. I choose this one due to friendly service and easy access to the hospitals I serve.

The employees working in the breakfast area are so helpful and friendly. They have a good breakfast with decent options.
Close and convenient to downtown.

Holiday Inn should be embarrassed by their poor customer service with this stay. I had reservations for several months and my room was changed because other guests extended their stay. Apparently, Holiday Inn acted as if this was my fault. The staff was insulted that I insist on the room I reserved (for four adults) and they were very unaccommodating to the situation. We had to pay more money for two rooms after "dealing" with them for over an hour. The receptionist and the manager apparently went to the same lousy school of customer service.
I was appalled by the way they handled this situation and the level of FRUSTRATION that we had to endure to just get checked into the hotel. We asked about other hotels or options and they said you will just come back here. We felt extremely helpless.
I was so disappointed in this hotel, this stay and this lack of customer service.

I have stayed here on three occasions, New Years Eve about 3 years ago, a week on business, about a year and a half ago, and again on the 20 of Oct. In the same room or the one below, as on new years night. We had the same problem with slamming and banging and a woman hollering or giving orders starting at around 4:30 A.M and continueing until we finally got up for breakfast, I assume you must save these noisy rooms for people using points for their stay, since it was in the same location each time , and I KNOW you had to have complaints about this before, because I don't even hear that well, the person at the front desk acted likehe had never heard of this before, and said only one person worked the kitchen (She must have been talking to herself. Loudly) And I have tried four times to submit this but the nickmanes have been used what is this for???

This has been my hotel of choice in the Chattanooga area repeatedly for the past three years. The staff has always gone beyond what is "required" in order to make their quests feel "at home". The amenities available are more than sufficient to complete a very pleasant traveling experience.
It is my pleasure to highly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Hixson, Tennessee for your next stay in the Chattanooga area. I believe you will find it will far exceed your expectations and will become your first choice of places to stay when in the area.

I was concerned about the area at first but it was safe. The hotel staff was excellent. Room was very clean! (And I am very particular ) close to downtown Chattanooga. Breakfast is plentiful and yummy! Very impressed!!!!
