Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We enjoyed our stay. We came in after driving all day. We didn't have a reservation. We were given a very nice suite. It was spacious. The pool was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was very nicely done, better than most HI Express breakfasts, and we've stayed at quite a few. The only drawback is that there is no elevator to the second floor. May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our First This is the first time for us in Holbrook. We like the place very much, except the eggs, little of the dry side, but mixed with gravy, it was ok. May 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant referrals Their referrals to area restaurants was excellent! May 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holbrook & Route 66 Holbrook is a cool little town with a great section of the old route 66 preserved. A good restaurant is the Mesa Restaurant Italian Cuisine. Also check out the Wigwam Motel on route 66 [Used in the movie CARS]. South of town is an amazing rock shop "Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Company". It has some beautiful rocks and fossils for sale. It is a must stop and check out place! Holbrook is close to the Petrified Forest National Park and Canyon de Chelly. These are places one needs to see in one's lifetime! The Holiday inn Express is a good staging place for these activities. I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express Hotels and am a Priority Club member. The only complaint I have about this property is the attitude of the person at the front desk on the night of April 28,2013. He was not very friendly and acted annoyed when we asked him about good restaurants in the area. May 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Update We have stayed at this Holiday Inn every year on our way to Ariz. The past few years we have noticed that the condition of the Inn has deteriated. Could use some updating... May 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express-Holbrook, AZ This property could really use and elevator and an automatic door at the entrance. Staff is very friendly. April 28, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leisure trip AC was quiet shower was very good beds were comfortable April 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat Lacking I understand it is not much to be a Priority Club member, but I do have other choices when traveling on business. I stay here mainly to build points and because they provide fairly good service. It is easy to overlook having to ask for cookies when checking in, however, I count on my bill being under my door first thing in the morning. Staff did take care of it when I asked. It seemed to be a symptom of a general fall from grace though. On arrival for breakfast I was treated to a bright yellow mop bucket at the entrance to the eating area and a broken oven with an accompanying sign indicating no hot food. April 23, 2013
