Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kind of disappointed We stayed at this hotel for a sports clinic that my daughter was participating in. I'm disappointed in the quality of my stay for the price paid. The price I paid was too high, in my opinion, for what was received. There was no in room refrigerator or microwave, which makes it hard to keep left over food from restaurants, as we were staying for two days. The beds are quite hard, no bounce at all. If you like that sort of thing, that's great for you, but I don't. I just stayed in another HI Express less than 2 weeks ago, and it was MUCH cheaper, for the SAME room and amenities, it did have a refrigerator. I feel that the value for this room, was just not up to my expectations for HI express. Too bad. If I have to visit this area again, I'd probably stay somewhere else. Also I think they need some sound absorbing tiles in the pool area, it was SO loud in there that my ears were ringing after leaving it. March 24, 2015

It was late and my business associate and I were tired and needed a place to stay for the night. The Bryan-Montpelier Holiday Inn express was a convenient place to stop for the night. Easy quick check-in, clean rooms, free breakfast, and friendly staff. What more could you need? March 23, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bryan holiday inn Why more expensive than ihg on other side of state of ohio. How can you charge a town and a city tax? Either you are in a town or you are in a city not both. Swimming pool was murky looking. Dark not clear. Kids said had funny taste to it. We were expecting a microwave in the room to reheat food. There was none. Reception recommended a pizza restaurant to order from. Food was mediocre but what really got me was they do not tell you that tip already included in bill. So Delivery person actually got a 40% tip. On a $25 order. We forgot my daughter school book in the room. Checked out at 730 they called us at 2pm. We were already 1\2 way through Penn and could not turn around. Melissa offered to ship it to us but did not tell me that she was going to charge my credit card. Not sure what the benefits are of being a ihg member. February 21, 2015
