I travel on business and stay at this location about 12 times per year. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and property (inside and out) are always well lit and maintained. Recommend this hotel for location, area food choices and accessibility to activities.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Donna61 Friendly staff and comfortable room
The hotel appearance and easy parking made it easier for me during the cold and rainy weather. The staff were welcoming and helpful! The rooms were comfortable. I used the microwave and refrigerator during my stay. When I travel for business this hotel is my preference in Fayetteville. Within a mile there are many places to eat from fast food to sit down dining. Stores are available for shopping.

This hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. There is insufficient parking near the doors since the lot is shared with a shopping center. The breakfast was over-heated and dried out and the only cereals available were overly sugary. I didn't frankly expect more based on previous hotel breakfasts. The pillows were lumpy.

a little further away from the main road than I normally like, and Hope Mills looks a little down and out, but the property is an overall good experience.
clean lobby, friendly service, good breakfast.
the amount of parking space available is a little skimpy. there is an adjacent strip mall lot is available try to park away from the bar there because there was definitely some reckless driving going on there.
there is also a small bank parking lot next door with a sign barring interlopers, but I saw some guests parking in there as it got closer to mid night. Maybe the HIE has a wink wink agreement with the bank.

Would recommend this Holiday Inn Express to any one who plans to visit the Fayetteville. N. C. area. It was one of the cleanest ones I have stayed in, and the staff were wonderful. Nice breakfast also.

I stay almost exclusively at HIE locations. The location of this hotel is several miles from the highway so it may not be the best choice when on a tight time schedule. The parking lot is shared with a small strip mall set of businesses including a bar, restaurant, and other types of retail. When we checked in we asked about places to get food and were told to go across the parking lot at the bar and grill. We went in and were told by the bartender/waitress that it is a private club, that we could eat there but we had to sign in. I guess this is NC law. We decided to stay and had an excellent meal although the other patrons felt a little sketchy it was fine. The room was comfortable, although could have been a little cleaner. It just felt like no one paid much attention to detail like cleaning in corners, etc. There was quite a bit of outside people noise until 11pm or so but then was fine. I was a little concerned about the safety of my vehicle in the parking lot as it was not just for the hotel, but I had to get past that so I could sleep. Breakfast was good, lots of choices and it seemed like the people overseeing the breakfast cared. Check out was fine, no issues. Leaving the hotel to get to I95 was challenging as the GPS took us a different way, and almost 45 minutes to get back to the highway because of traffic lights, traffic, and construction. I think this is an excellent location and option if you need to access Fort Bragg, not sure it's a great option if traveling along I95.
