There was a good variety of foods available at the breakfast bar. I also liked the hours the breakfast bar was open.

My reservation rate was not honored because they did not have two double beds available at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. I was charged $19 more for a king room or wait another 30 minutes for a clean room. On a Friday afternoon, availability for a reservation should be honored at the same price.
The manager who arrived at the front desk during my check in process was rude, unfriendly, and lacked social skills. She was definitely not setting an example of what guest services representatives should present to the public.
As an present day educator, and a retired general manager for some major chain hotels, I was very disappointed in this manager's behavior. I should have recorded her demeanor and posted that. I accepted the rate because I had just driven over five hours in bumper to bumper traffic on I-95. Her behavior left a bad impression of an otherwise nice hotel.

On our summer road trip we stopped here overnight.
The pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast in the morning was good to get us going on our way. Be sure to check out manager reception it is very nice.

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Hope Mills/Fayetteville, NC area. I would recommend it if you are in the area..

We LOVE this hotel and stay here every time we are in the area. The staff is fantastic and the rooms very comfortable. The mattresses and pillows are super comfy. Hope Mills is a better town to stay in than Fayetteville as well. This hotel always gives us the best nights sleep and the rooms are quiet and dark. Temperature of the room can always be set right where we want it. And they always have a military discount that is unavailable at a lot of other hotel chains.

A BIG blood stain on the chair in room, tic tac toe drawn outside elevator, dirty bathroom in room, visible plaster that had not been smoothed or painted, wi-fi never worked for us our whole stay. There was cereal at breakfast but NO milk. She said they were out. I have worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Operations for a larger hotel chain and have gone out and bought what the kitchen was out of in order to make the guest more comfortable. It was Brand standard. My 2
