I booked this hotel because I had a meeting at the Holiday Hobby Airport they said they were the one. When I arrived, I found there were two and this was the Express. The management refused to allow me to cancel and re-book at the full service Holiday Inn where my meetings were at. I am gold member (almost platinum) and have never been treated this poorly at any other IHG Hotel. They definitely made my list of NEVER stay at again. Also I transferred after the one night and discovered from other guests that they had been treated the same way by this hotel.

Hotel has an excellent Continental breakfast. There was plenty of food and it was always warm and fresh. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and and the hotel is close to everything right off Highway 45.

I am a non-smoker, they accused me of smoking and assessed a hefty fine to my stay, very rude front desk, will never stay here again.

I would like to thank the staff for saving our 25th anniversary get away from being a complete disaster. After having a very bad experience in Galveston we stopped by with no reservation and was treated with such royalty; we were able to finally relax in a nice room and bed. Even when our car wouldn't start the next morning the desk clerk made sure we got our car started and directions to the nearest dealership.

The gentleman on front desk duty the morning of 9/19 was very nice. He explained to me the shuttle bus service was not as I previously thought but made a pot of coffee extra early (4:40am) to help start my day right. I think his name is Richard but I'm not certain.

Rooms were clean, comfortable, and updated. Staff was friendly and the hotel location was convenient. The room I was in had a strong and fast internet connection. There were many conveniently located outlets for phones, computers, etc. There was a lot of noise from planes and the highway, which may cause a problem for some, but not for me. I was told that the hotel has quieter rooms on the other side of the building. Either way, I had a very comfortable night of sleep at this hotel and I will stay at this location again when in Houston.

When we got to the hotel in the evening there was no one at the desk. Waited 5-10 minutes for someone to come and check us in. We had 2 rooms. The one that faced the street was quite noisy. The other room did not face the street so it was quiet but it was smelly. We had a very early flight so we didn't get any breakfast. I don't plan on using this hotel again.

I request everyday for towels, shampoo during my stay. The breakfast service with a personel absoultely with absence of customer service. The bathroom not well cleaned even I request to do that every day.
The coffee maker was not cleaned once the room was made and no coffee replacements were done. I should ask for coffe to Abraham.
Only this guy Abraham is the value in the hotel
This is the worst Holiday Inn I hve been stay. Please take care on cleaning.

Well maintained property on IH45. Somewhat limited restaurant choices nearby but adjoining Sheraton 4 Points has restaurant with small menu that I just walked over to for dinner.

I stayed at this property for a business meeting and was extremely pleased with the attentiveness of the staff. When I arrived, and it was early, there was no problem, my room was ready and waiting. Each and every hotel property should have staff like the ones here. Anytime a staff member encountered a guest, they addressed you by name! I didn't really think there were such pleasant people left in the service industry. They should be commended for exemplary service.

Not a pleasant stay. Pool was unavailable because heater was broken. Toilet overflowed, carpet was wet in the room very unpleasant .

Robert at the front desk is awesome in fact better than the manager. He smile is awesome makes you feel like $100000.00 when you walk through the doors. You want for nothing. He is very personable and cheerful and handles guests with pride. He should be a manager if he is not he should also train all new hires for Holiday Inn. What an asset he is to your company. Traveling alone he made me feel very safe and at ease. I wanted for nothing. In fact he did more than the manager did for me. The computer room needs updated and computers with speed. Manager had to use her laptop to print my boarding pass. Robert rocks and just awesome job well done.
Noel shuttle driver he is wonderful, personable cheerful and very familiar with the air. Exccellent driver He took excellent care of me. In fact he went about and beyond his call of duty for me. He even showed me the Mexican bakery. You shouldn't miss it. If he is not in a supervisor or manager position he should be. He is the employee you want to see grow within the organization. He is also an asset to your company. take care of these two guys. Your guest love them and we sure do. They made my stay comfortable even though I asked the manager to check my room and air conditioner and she said she was the only one there bad answer. I then told Robert and it was taken care of immediately. I would recommend this hotel since it is close to Hobby Airport and the shuttle service is free. Great guys thank you so much Noel and Robert you rock.

I have to say that Noel the gentleman who drives the shuttle was awesome. He customer service is above his call of duty. He really does take pride in his job. I wanted for nothing . Excellent service, and a very good driver very personable. Noel should play a bigger role at Holiday Inn. Loved the Mexican Bakery for sure...
Robert on the Front Desk - was amazing greets you as you enter the hotel with a huge smile and so professional. He really takes his job serious and his guest are very important to him for sure. No job is too small for him. He should be a manager for Holiday Inn
He really should be in management and training new employees along with Noel great assest to your Holiday Inn.
In fact Robert did more for me than the manager but that is ok.
The room was big with a king bed and sofa refridge etc. I would have liked the air conditioner to be a little better. The van shuttle service is very prompt and safe.
Robert and Noel you make this hotel. Awesome job well done thank you for excellent service Just love these guys.

When I checked in I was supposed to get a king bed suite, I walked in to find 2 queens, walked back down and then was immediately changed to King, that was not Robert but the other guy on duty. My husband went down all most every morning to visit with Robert as he just moved to Houston and was very helpful on places to look for houses and areas to maybe check out. Hotel was nice, my bed was comfortable and then to have a separate couch and tv so we could unwind at night. The only thing that I could of asked for would be a coffee table in the family room for stuff like a drink or food. Thanks for the wonderful week in Houston!!

I ended up at the wrong Holiday Inn with no transportation. They sent a shuttle to pick me up. I had left my phone charger at previous hotel, they loaned me one. They also gave me a late check-out (priority member) which allowed me to get some work done before leaving for the airport and had no interruptions from anyone trying to clean the room. I would stay there again!

Noticed on night 2 of my stay the AC was not working, the manager came to check and sure enough it was out. He went to see if another room was available for me but nothing was as they were full. They had an upgraded room for the remainder of my stay that next evening and even moved all my items to my new room for me. The staff was great and friendly and the manager was really nice and helpful in the situation. Very clean hotel!

There were fruit flies all around the breakfast area trash cans and inside the bread holder. As an employee was pulling the trash bag you could see a very dirty interior trash can with liquid and old trash...hence the fruit flies. I suggested he clean the cans and the flies would not exist. My first and last stay here.

I am a priority rewards customer and when
I checked out, my ticket said one price andwhen I checked my bank account there was an additional charge. I called and spoke with several people who told me that the manager would call me back and he/she never did. after a couple of days, I finally did get the manager who informed me that she would check into it and return my call and she still has not. I have never had anything come up missing in any hotel visited, this is a first . What was in the room when we arrived was there when we left. I am hoping that this issue is resolved soon...but guess what ...THE MANAGER HAS NOT CALLED ME BACK... this was the worst stay I have ever had...only because I was labled as a thief. Incidentials is what I was told, taking 3 towels and a Pillow. $30.00

We were able to check in early with our kids. We were given a suite when we only paid for a king room. Adriana, I think, helped us get into the pool area and brought us towels personally. Truly enjoyed my Mother's Day!
