Very slow WiFi and nonfunctioning (not maintained) business center. Business center was out of paper with locked up computers. After two rebooting attemps, I had to give up due to time.
As a valued priority club member I was given a 1/2 pint of warm water, thanks so much.
Staff was friendly.
Property is showing some wear and tear.

I frequently stay at this property when I am in Houston because of its location and the professionalism of the staff. They are very accommodating and go out of their way to make me feel welcomed. The rooms are nicely maintained and I always get a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this property.

This was my second chance to stay at this hotel. They absolutley meet my needs. The staff was great and the hotel was very comfortable. The location put me with in 3 miles of the work I had to do. I will definatly use this facility again.

I stayed in this hotel because it was so close (literally within walking distance) to the building I was taking my RN-NCLEX exam in. I was nervous at first because I had seen that it did not get great reviews, however I couldn't beat the price or location. My mom came with me and we stayed in a double-bed room on the 3rd floor. The staff were so incredibly nice and accommodating. My mom and I came from over an hour away and arrived earlier than expected for check-in, but the woman at the desk let us check-in early because the room was ready. I had reserved the room under my name, however when we got there she asked if either of us were a rewards member. I am not but my mom is. She took the time to change the reservation name to my mom's and gave my mom the reward points! I was really impressed and grateful that she was willing to do that and we didn't even have to ask, she did it on her own. That experience allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay, and focus on my upcoming exam. As far as the highway noise, yes you can hear the traffic but I turned the air conditioning fan on high and was able to sleep just fine. The room temperature was comfortable and everything was clean. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. It was my first time staying in a Holiday Inn Express and it won't be the last!

Extremely helpful front desk and staff, immaculate and quiet room, all the linens and personal items one could need, very tasty breakfast selections, easy in and out of parking area. Such a very pleasant stay - would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet place with helpful staff to take care of any need.

Excellent proximity to the airport. Good value. I would suggest offering Priority Club members a bottle of water or some kind of snack bag as the vast majority of the properties do.

As a Gold member I travel all week every week. The Front Desk person, Abraham, is very professional and provides excellent Customer Service.
The property itself is older and could use some TLC but the service is exceptional so I return when in the Houston market.
Every hotel should have Front Desk employees like Abraham.

The hotel is not kept up. It is right on the express way so front rooms are loud. The thermostats are programmed to switch to 60 degrees temp and a/c high at 2am in the morning. No matter what you set it to during the day. The front desk told me they would look into it, but obviously they knew what it does. Nothing was done about it all week. Do not shower between 5am and 7am, no hot water! Plenty in the evening, after the gym but nothing in the morning. New beds in old rooms.

Although the hotel and room were clean, the room furnishing wee old and worn ...... this hotel needs an upgrade. I am going to try the Holiday Inn on Airport Blvd. the next time.

The personnel were all very pleasant and courteous. The couch in my room was old and really needed replacing. When I asked the manager about it, he informed me that they were getting ready for an upgrade. I was pleased that the situation had been identified and was being addressed.

The desk clerk (Dennis) didn't listen. I requested a quiet room and was placed on the freeway side of the building. No sleep. I asked to be moved and was promptly by a different desk clerk . When I came to my room in the afternoon, my belongings were missing. Went to the front desk and the maid had removed them because no one was registered in my new room. I had been checked out. After straightening that out, I received another check-out bill on Thursday morning. The problem was my reservation was through Friday. All in all, I received three bills during my stay. Met with manager, he listened, I just hope he does something about his desk clerk staff.
Breakfast lady does great job.
The manager's afternoon reception is good idea, but obviously there is no budget. Very poor.
Pool was out of service and there was no warning on the website. Very disappointing. No recognition as priority club member.

I have stayed in a lot of Holiday Inn Express and this one didnt live up to the reputation. I didnt get my room cleaned for a couple of days then I took off the (do not disturb) sign to get it cleaned and I guess the cleaning crew decided to put it back on my door while I was at work. So I didnt get my room cleaned. The second day I was there I go ask the front desk for water and they said they didnt carry any complimentary water. I didnt get a complimentary gift either for being a platinum member which I usually receive. What bothered me most is the room service not cleaning my room and putting the sign back on my door, I didnt put it on there. I will not be staying here again.

This was a perfect spot for 8 of us to spend our pre-cruise night. The hotel was very clean, the staff was wonderful, and the location very convenient with the free shuttle. We recommend this spot for that pre-cruise night or after cruise stay. Breakfast was OK, choices of course somewhat limited, but the price was right (included in the price of the hotel).

We stayed at this property prior to leaving on a cruise out of Galveston. Property is very clean, staff is wonderful and van service is amazing. Only down side is that it is out of the way with no resturants, etc within walking distance.

We were visiting during the Thanksgiving holiday and the staff was great. They were all helpful if we needed anything. The location was great for us since we had to meet people in multiple towns near by.

Found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. Staff greeted us in a very friendly and sympathetic manner due to our recent traffic problems on the way to the hotel. The room was more than adequate and provided a comfortable haven for our one night stay. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. If we again cruise out of Galveston, we will look forward to staying at this hotel on the way.

Everything else we fine, shower, bed, breakfast, location, price but if you are going to say free Wi-Fi then make sure it has a solid signal and plenty of bandwidth...this was like dial-up speed...anf the TV offerings were a throwback to the 90s...all low resolution, and very limited selection.

We booked this Holiday Inn Express because it was close to the airport and offered the stay, park and fly program. We were able to park our car for 9 days while we flew to Florida. The first 5 days were free and we paid $5 per day for the remainder of our trip.
A driver dropped us off and when we flew in we called and were picked up and taken back to our vehicle at the hotel. Could not have been any easier.
Our room was spotless as was the overall look of the hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
Great place to stay.

This Holiday Inn Express should be down graded to a Holiday Inn. I have always enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express, until this one, now I will be more causious when booking a hotel in this chain.
We wanted to stay at a hotel with an indoor poor so we could swim. First impression of this hotel was it was dirty. The floors in the lobby, elevator and hall appeared unswept, which is a good indication of what you can expect in your room. The roooms are cheaply decorated, almost trashy. We had to change rooms right after checking in because the first room had no shower curtain. The pool was so cold that no one could swim in it, several people came in, but them left after feeling the pool water. We sat in the hot tub, which was more like a warm tub. I was very disapointed in the hotel and very upset that I wasted a night staying there. Additionally, you hear the highway all night.

This was my first time staying at the hotel and it definitely lived up to expectations. I have used the Hampton at Hobby, but that is an aged property.
I would like to recognize the breakfast host as she was really nice and went above and beyond to get anything that we needed. The rate was reasonable, but seemed a little high from other Holiday Inns that I have stayed at.
I will definitely be back.

it was a very nice stay the staff was very nice. even when we came in a day early, they were very accomindating. rooms were nice the hotel was nice the breakfast was great staff was excellent, which made it a nice stay. sorry we missed the meet the manager night it would have been nice to have this every night but only monday through thursday.
