Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Review Not in keeping with typical Holiday Inn Express. Rooms were worn, dingy and smelled. Gym was small and cramped. Some of the gym equipment was not self explanatory. Some of the staff were difficult to reach at different times of the day. Certainly not worth the money paid. October 27, 2014

We began staying each time at the Holiday Inn Express on Main Street from the beginning (which was three years ago). We love the accommodations. The staff are very friendly and we are able to relax during our stay. October 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service and Location to Downtown Stayed at this location on a recent business trip. The room itself had a stuffy/ humid feel and smell even with a fully functioning A/C system. The room also was a bit small compared to the various other HI Express locations I've stayed at. Great cleanliness and great service! Didn't like the quality of the eggs with the complimentary breakfasts compared to other locations either. Overall, I still recommend this location for ratings I gave in each category. October 17, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room needs attention This hotel is close to the medical center and is nice because there is no charge for parking. It is clean and breakfast is good. However it needs an update really soon. There are stains on the walls, the tub faucet leaked into the granite wall (darkened it) and the lighting is horrible (CFL bulbs). The decor is just bad. Probably the thing we didn't like the most was the air conditioning...very loud and inefficient. We had to set it way low to get it to come on and then it was freezing. The dampness in the room was very uncomfortable (maybe because its Houston) We've stayed here twice and both rooms were very similar. October 7, 2014
