We stayed at this Holiday Inn on our way back home after a visit in Houston. Our room was so humid the sheets and pillow were damp. The air was set on 68 degrees and it was still humid. We were exhausted from traveling and were too tired to find somewhere else to stay. Our breakfast the next morning was abysmal. My bagel was so stale it was inedible, coffee was lukewarm, and there were few choices. It was a disappointing experience. We will not return to this hotel.

The first thing I noticed was, I was not recognized as a Gold Priority Club Member. I was not offered extra points for my stay.
We needed to stay two nights and I had enough Priority Points to use for one nights stay. Due to your systems limitations, I had to make two separate reservations. After the first night, I had to go back to the front desk to check out and then I had to check back in. Because of a family illness, we were gone all day the second day. When we returned to our room, the beds had not been made up, the trash we had collected from our previous nights meal was still in our room, and we didn't have fresh towels and wash cloths. I called the front desk to report this but the lady told me to just set the bag of trash out by our door and she would be down to pick it up. The next morning, the bag was still outside our door and it appeared other folks had added their trash to it.
I'm very disappointed with this service but thankfully, all my experiences with HI Express have not been like this one.
