Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LBoard This hotel was extremely friendly and hospitable. I booked three rooms for my family for a funeral. They were very accommodating and thoughtful. The Hotel lobby was just beautiful, and the staff was so caring in our time of need. I am from a Sister Hotel and I have been to many other hotels and you just do not always find this type of caring attitude. If you are in the area, this is the hotel to stay at. December 8, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent and convenient location at intersecton of Hiwy 6 and 290 We are not fond of driving in Houston traffic....this wonderful location was close to all our needs....it has amazingly quiet and restful atmosphere too. We were there one day short of a week and the stay could not have been nicer. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Better lighting for reading in bed was our only complaint December 3, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No Internet - Unfinished Patched Room Very Disappointed in the room condition and lack of Internet on the third floor. We specifically asked about Wi-Fi upon Check In. Was told it was great that there would not be a problem. Then we were put on the top (third floor) floor and at the very end - last room of the hall. We had 3 tablets and 2 laptops with us. None of which were we ever able to pick up Internet Service. When we inquired at the front desk - we were told that Internet service was very sparse on the third floor and that we'd be very lucky if we got it at all on that floor. There was also "patch work" done where it looked like there had been a water problem coming in from the roof. One wall had been patched up but never sanded nor painted or papered. It was just left unfinished. Just a lot lower quality than I had expected to find. There was also a weird smell when you'd first walk into the room - which would seem to dissipate after being in the room a few minutes -- each time we entered. The front desk staff did offer to have someone come in the next day and "spray". We just couldn't figure out what "spraying" would do for it. So we refused that particular service. Also, upon checkout our bill was more per night than we had been told it would be. The front desk person did correct this one issue though. We never did get any Internet service. So if you're expecting Internet capability (we were there several nights) - don't stay in this hotel. Or at least not on the third floor. Hope this is helpful to someone. December 3, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by friendly and very helpful staFF This was a good place to stay. The entire staff was great. And when asked they would have suggestions on places to eat or visit. The room was stuffy and some problem with the bathroom. The hot tub was not working and the pool was full of leaves maybe they did not keep it clean because it was cool out but if they don't want it to be used then empty it. But the overall stay was good and would suggest it to others. December 1, 2014
