The great room breakfast was the worst i've experience, eggs were not ready at 7:20, the raisins were old and hard as a rock, and there were only about twenty in a bowl. November 10, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Adequate at Best After 3 stays at this property I would rate the hotel adequate at best and not worth the price. I am a Platinum level with 3 hotel groups, have over 100 hotel stays worldwide per year, and therefore have many hotels with which to compare. Even among HI Express hotels this property has one of the higher rates and rates slightly above motels. Specifically: 1. first stay booked a Friday and Saturday (paid for 2 nights) but noted on Reservation that I would arrive Saturday morning at 4am. Upon arrival I had been listed as a no show. I was given a room, charged for both nights (no problem), not greeted as a Platinum, nor offered the customary gift or 500 points. 2. On the next stay my room was held and ready in the early a.m. but again I was not offered the points until I mentioned it. 3. Third stay the AC/Heater unit was inoperative. The plug cover was visibly taken off exposing the plug. The circuit breaker on the plug was popped. When pushed in the unit would run for 2-3 minutes then pop circuit breaker again. It was cold, I had unpacked, and was tired. the blanks were adequate. $140 per night???? November 5, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Truck stop hotel Waited on front desk clerk to do much more important things while checking in. First room had heater that sounded like a jack hammer. Requested new room. Second room had hairs in sheets, stains on bed cover. No water pressure, was unwilling to shower there. Both queen mattresses need to be replaced. Just springs with a sheet over top. Unwilling to eat breakfast there tried the coffee tasted like dirty water. October 31, 2014

We dropped something on the floor and it went under the couch so we moved the couch to get it. Big mistake!!! Not sure when the last time was the couch was moved and cleaned under but it had been a while! Other than that gross experience things were great. October 29, 2014

We decided to book at the Holiday Inn because of the location, accommodations and passed experiences with Holiday Inn Express chains all but the location failed my expectations. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly staff, but the beds were not so good Both mornings when we went to breakfast, the eggs were burnt and there were no bagels or muffins. There was also no one to discuss this with and as we were in a hurry, we did not choose to go to the desk and ask. This was very frustrating, as one of the major reasons we repeatedly choose IHG, is the Continental breakfast that is provided. The beds were not the best at this location either. Very squeaky frames and hard mattresses. We had to go down to the front desk after 10pm, when we finally opened the pull-out couch and looked around the room and realized that we had no bedding. The staff was always very pleasant and chatty with everyone, day and night. I really appreciated the cookie while I was using the computer to print some paperwork that I needed! October 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff - AC Not Working Very Well We made last minute reservations (10 minutes before we arrived) because we needed a place to stay the night. The staff was incredibly friendly when we checked in and made us feel very welcomed. Our room was very clean. It was late when we arrived and our room was very hot. It took a very long time to cool off. We didn't ask for any assistance because it was late and we just wanted to go to sleep. Breakfast was very good, there was a large variety of food. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff took the extra step Hotel was clean and quiet. They welcomed my dog like family and made us feel welcomed as well. Once we were on the road again I realized I left my insulin in the refrigerator at the hotel. I immediately called the hotel and the gentlemen at the front desk assured me they would keep the insulin until I returned in a little over a week. They were awesome and very reassuring. Unfortunately we could not stay at the hotel on our way back because they were full and had to stay at another Express down the road and not nearly as nice. October 19, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room smelled damp I stay at holiday in properties frequently I am a platnium member so I tend to be fairly critical. This property is not one the best. I would say this is an average or below average Holiday Inn express property. The Breakfast area was small and dated. The lobby was not very attractive.or warm. The room I was assigned was on the first floor and when I entered the room it smell damp and musty. ( I should have requested another room right away). The room was well equipped with two Queen beds and microwave and refrigerator. What was very concerning was hidden behind the window curtains where damp ride moisture collection bags. Seem there is a moisture problem in this room and maybe other rooms of this holiday inn. If they have a moisture problem they need to address it and not hid moisture collection bags behind the curtains. On a separate note I have nite been feeling great since I returned from my stay at this property I sure hope it is not related to mold or moisture from this damp room. October 14, 2014

If anything was a negative it was that we weren't told about a little local information area that was available. We found it the next day after breakfast but it was too late then. October 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Supposed to be Non-Smoking We stayed during the marathon weekend for a wedding. As soon as we opened the door, the smoke smell was like walking into a wall. We asked for another room, but that was not offered. The lady sprayed the room, but really did not help. She explained the hotel just went all non-smoking, but they have not had time to clean all the rooms. The room still had several ashtrays in it. We were told housekeeping would give the room extra attention. The one day, the housekeeping pulled the sheet over the bed. That was it. The pillows were left as they were, trash not emptied, nor floors swept. I will never stay at this property again. I am a Gold Member. One of the worst properties I have ever been to. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very dissatisfied It all started with arriving and entering through a cloud of cigarette smoke at the front entrance. We were given our room and noticed an odd smell as we walked down the hallway, I would call it musty. We entered our room to find the worst mattress I have ever encountered at a Holiday Inn. Could it be that they save that room for FREE Nights, I was using points to pay for the two nights, it was room 124. I am a business traveler and I have stayed in 11 different IHG properties this year and have had good experiences or I probably would be done with HI Express. October 10, 2014
