Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, courteous staff, but terrible WiFi I've stayed in many Holiday Inn Express properties (Priority Club membership); this one was pretty well-run and the front desk staff member was welcoming and courteous, even though I checked in after midnight. My only complaint: the WiFi was terrible! I was hardly able to get a signal in my room at all; when I called twice to the front desk to report the problem, the staff member was nice enough but had no real solution, nor was there any follow-up. I enjoyed the pool and the stay 100%. Moreover, I would without a doubt recommend and stay at this property again. Truly a class act and shout out to Chris at the front desk. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and felt like a 6 star hotel!! My wife and I stayed here on business and greatly enjoyed the comfort and the staff was very accommodating. This hotel gave us the feel of a 6 star hotel. The room and the entrance had the look and feel of something far more than the amount of money that was charged. Thanks also for the great breakfast and fine attention to detail and cleanness from the breakfast staff. We will stay at your hotel again if we are in the area!!!! Gene & Bev January 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 12/27 stay This was a nice hotel--but I don't know why it was desgined to have rooms DIRECTLY across from the elevators which we happened to get. Not that the staff could help having a rude group of people staying that smoked up the halls and were loud, it made for a terrible nights sleep because they kept using the elevator and did not take into account that people might be sleeping at 11:30 and later! I think the staff should advise anyone checking in to be courteous of others after say 9 and 10 pm with others that might be sleeping near the elevators. January 2, 2014

Manager Brian, and front desk Melanie went "above and beyond the call of duty" to make me feel at home. Wednesday Managers Reception was a vey nice surprise and perk. Could use some more "health conscious" breakfast choices. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. hotel is in a great location and easily accessible. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay again. November 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room size, clean, no microwave but refrigerator The room was very clean. The beds were harder than we were used to. Our room had 2 Queen beds and there were no microwave but a coffee maker and refrigerator. The refrigerator made noises in the night-- we put a folded up towel around the one side and it seemed to help it not vibrate so much. Overall, the place was very nice, and the hallways were bright and well lit. We didn't notice any bad odors. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. When you walk up to the front of the motel, you can see the full view of the pool and if anyone is inside using the pool. In addition to the lovely breakfast, it would have been nice to have hard boiled eggs for breakfast rather than only omlets. Some folks don't like peppers and onions in their omlets. Otherwise, the breakfast had good healthy foods to select from. October 15, 2013

Shower/ tub did not drain and was slippery and there was hair on the floor. A/c and the refrigerator were noisy. Whirlpool jets broken first night but were fixed the second night. October 1, 2013

The staff, from the housekeeping, to the front desk, to the breakfast/kitchen were all so friendly and helpful. All were exceptional. They made the stay a delight. I have stayed in MANY, MANY different hotels, motels...from two star to five.....and this Holiday Inn Express easily ranks in my top five of all-time!!! I am not lying when I say that we did not want to leave!!! The room was spacious, clean, with a super-comfy bed, nice TV, good fridge and microwave. The staff was awesome!!! The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Bagels, English Muffins, Eggs, Sausage, Several Kinds of Muffins, Cereals, A Variety of Juices & Fresh Fruits.....and on and on!!! Overall, I have had great stays at other Holiday Inn's, and the Dayton/Huber Heights location is no exception!!! September 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hospitality, last minute We were traveling to destination on our vacation and were about halfway there at 10pm. I called Holiday Inn Reservations to locate availability. The closest Holiday Inn was booked due to a big concert in town; this was also a holiday weekend. But they were able to find us another location within 10 miles. Not only was it nice to have their Reservation Dept do all the legwork in locating a facility with vacancy, but upon arrival, the hotel's front desk was able to offer a better deal as well in the rates. All around, it was a great experience. I travel for work and the next time I'm in the Huber Heights, OH area, I will be staying here. September 4, 2013
