I been coming to this hotel for several years and watched it's steady decline, although the staff up until this last visit, has always been top notch, it seems as though they have left without training the new staff.
Ice machines are broken, same as last month. Water pressure low. Takes a long time for hot water. Mattresses and pillows are becoming old. Breakfast quality was poor. No cinnamon rolls. (I believe that's one of HIE's "things" isn't it?)
There are a lot of issues at this facility that are not going to be fixed with new wallpaper.
You've lost me, I'll be staying somewhere else whenever I'm in town from now on.

I took my wife there for her birthday weekend and upon arrival we noticed the hotel was undergoing serious renovations which we were not told about when we made our reservations. We got to our room and the bed was in terrible condition, the phone was broken, the blow dryer was broken and making a horrible noise, advertised HBO and there was none, in room Jacuzzi was extremely loud, heated pool was not heated at all and we couldn't even swim it was freezing, and the hot tub wasn't working. The next morning we went to breakfast and their famous cinnamon rolls were gone and when we asked for more to be brought out the woman said "there are no more" and just walked away not to mention the eggs were burnt and disgusting. Upon checkout we told the woman that this was by far the worst experience we have ever had to which she replied with a smile "Sorry to hear that have a nice day" and didn't care at all to even ask what had happened. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

This was a nicely located hotel, conveniently located near the interstate and nearby restaurants. The only negative was when I lifted the lid on the toilet and saw a small bit of TP on the seat. Breakfast was good, but once again I ran into the situation of biscuits and no gravy. Whoever the recent MBA executive genius is that came up with this idea should be asked to seek employment elsewhere! For my money, there is no use for a breakfast biscuit without gravy.
The staff was courteous and helpful. The room comfortable, and quiet. I would stay here again.
