WoW - What a difference
We had stayed here about three months ago and were quite disappointed by the condition of our room. Apologies were made by the staff as they were in the process of renovating rooms.
On our return stays we have been delighted by the level of staff attentiveness as well as the cleanliness of the entire hotel. Our room was fresh and all of the furnishings were in great condition, unlike our last stay. I'm glad that Kathleen, the manager intervened and showed us just how wonderful a stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hudson, Massachusetts could be.
We will be back !

I have stayed at many holiday inn hotels and this is the one that I was not too happy with. When we were checking out we asked for a 1 o'clock extension, but by noon the cleaning staff started to bug us to leave. I will not come back.

All staff members were very friendly and helpful from check-in to breakfast staff to cleaning service to check-out. The problems we encountered were a toilet that continued to run after flushing, bedding that was heavily bleached and irritated my skin so much that I couldn't sleep, and distracting noise from surrounding rooms throughout the night. We have stayed here for the past few years and have not had any issues before, so we will try again since we like the staff so much and the hotel is a convenient place for us to stop when we travel through.

We are priority club members. I had to ask for water, which we should not have to do!
LACK OF RESPECT!
We asked for a quiet room and was told that we would get a very quiet room, which was obviously a scam.
We had two nights of pure insanity at this hotel. A sports team ran up and down the halls both nights while their parents drank in the lobby. The kids bounced balls off of our door until four am the first night, 11:30 pm the second night. We had to be up at 6 am, so we only got 2 hours of sleep, which made me very angry.
When I went to the front desk to complain at two am, The young girl who was at the desk told us that she was to overwhelmed to do anything about the screaming kids. She said that we were not the only unhappy customers. The second night she had to CALL THE POLICE to come in and bring some peace to the hotel. The kids used the elevator so much that it overheated and completely stopped working for hours. So we had the climb three stories. When police have to be called to quiet a hotel down it means that the management has very low standards.
The food was way over cooked for breakfast (eggs cooked until they were browned) and biscuits hard and dried out. The sausage gravy was all glazed over on the top from being set out to long, and we got to the breakfast at 6:30 am. Our room had the previous guests toothpaste in the bathroom sink, hair in the shower.
Of the 1,000 rooms we have stayed in, this one was the worst by far, They promised us a refund of one night, but I had to call holiday inn customer service to get it when their promise failed to come through. I still have not heard a word from the management at the hotel. For an affluent area, this hotel failed in every respect.
This hotel was a bad experience for us, in every way.
I find it frustrating that whenever a bad review gets posted the management responds with the same old reply, which is really a slap in the face to us, the customer who always ends up paying for very poor service!

Second stay here while visiting friends in the Clinton MA area. Hotel is well kept and rooms are large and clean. Having a microwave and small refridgerator in the room are nice perks. Having a Dunkin Donuts next door for my caffeine fix is also a big plus. Will stay here again.
