Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CAUTION. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE OFF THE HIE SYSTEM I have been in the priority club program since its inception. I have plenty of patience in most cases and understand economic downturns do have impacts on things like room renovation etc. In a nutshell this place takes the prize for the most run down and dirty room in over 25 years of using HI properties. Its pitiful, the staff was great, no issues with them. HIE should drop this property from the system... February 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Park and Fly problems I chose this hotel mainly for its closeness to the airport and the ability to leave our car there and take a hotel shuttle. The shuttle service is not 24 hours so since i had an early flight i ended up having to hire a cab anyways. Coming back i called for the shuttle while picking up my bags. I waited 40 min for the shuttle to come get me from a hotel 4 miles away. The room i had before my flight was good, no issues and a very nice bed. The room on the way back had a busted heater which was the last thing i wanted after waiting 40 min in the cold for the shuttle. Jackie, the lady working the front desk was fantastic and changed my room right away. The main reason i chose this hotel was the park and fly option, due to the troubles i had, i can't recommend it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWESOME! Although there was a little confusing on what shuttle to take and where the pick up location at the airport was, when I arrived at the property all was forgiven. From the super check-in to blazing fast internet in the room, everything, EVERYTHING, at this property is awesome. Located near the property is a restaurant and a fast food place, as well as a mini mart in case you need something and don't feel like going to far away. My only disappointment was that I only stayed for one day. Next time I go to Houston, I will be staying at this property and for longer than one day. February 14, 2015
