The room was clean and very nice. I especially appreciated the Priority Club upgrade to a whirlpool room after a long day on the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made me feel like they were happy to have me as a guest. The location is convenient to restaurants and highways. I would definately recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I'm in the area.

This property is a very nice facility with plesant staff - - Even so, I will not be returning to this property again mainly due to their choice in cable providers. I realize it sounds petty but the cable this property uses has a very long delay when changing channels. If you are a channel surfer - STAY AWAY. There is over a 4 - 5 second delay when changing channels which adds up to a lot of waisted time if you are surfing the channels like I do.
You also may want to get up a little early since this property does not slide your receipt under the door at checkout so plan on standing in line at the desk in the morning.
Priority members don't get much bang for their buck.

This location is always a great place to stay, from check-in to check-out. The staff is very friendly & more than happy to help. I would recommend this hotel.

This is the 7th. Year in a row that we have stayed here on our way to and from southern Texas for the winter. We like this hotel as it is convenient to restaurants and it it clean and comfortable.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 A Perfect Get Away
My partner and enjoy going to this Holiday Inn, more then any other we have been to. The pool area, is trimmed out, completely in wood. It's so beautiful and romantic. As soon as we walked into the pool area, we were instantly reminded of Florida. It's beautiful and very warm and nice an humid. There are no chlorine smells, from the pool and the lighting is perfect.
The Whirlpool was out of service, so the jets were not working but the temperature was HOT and we were still aloud, to soak in it.
The room was perfect in all ways and very clean. We do this 1 to 5 times a month and this is our new home. Though, we like to check out other Holiday inns and compare, so far, we are very stuck on this one. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and important. The MGR of the Inn, is a great man! He to goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need and compensates you, if your expectations are not met and I have very high expectations.

We travel a fair amount and mostly stay in Holiday Inn Express or a similar chain. Our stay wasn't so bad that we would not stay here again, but if there was another choice, I would try somewhere else.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was so nice and helpful. But, the room was so uncomfortably hot that we tossed and turned all night. The thermostat would let you adjust it but it would only turn on when it wanted like it was on a timer. We finally had to open the window to cool off the room in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was ok. Could use some more variety. More fresh fruit choices would be nice. Breakfast area was very clean.
Would also be nice if they gave a discount for college visits. I called and asked but they said they didn't offer one. Some of the local bed & breakfasts do but we're not B&B people.

I cannot say how much my wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway to the Holiday Inn Express in Huntington, Indiana! We had a wonderful room complete with a hot tub. Very clean and a very comfortable king-size bed. Beautiful indoor swimming pool complete with hot tub to the side and superb breakfast selection in the mornings.
The staff was very pleasant and the town itself has many quaint places to shop and visit along with the wonderful Joseph DeCuis restaurant a few minutes away in Roanoke.
Kudos to Holiday Inn for this excellent facility.
