I very much enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Huntsville. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms where clean and spacious. If my work brings me back to Huntsville I will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn.

This is a nice hotel as far as HIEX goes - one of the nicer I've stayed in. The Staff are helpful and responsive. My only complaint has to do with the internet. As of April 2013, the internet is the worst of any hotel I've ever stayed in, and I stay in hotels over 300 day a year. When it works at all, it is frustratingly slow. I've been told that they are going to replace the system, but there have been problems with the internet since at least 6 months ago. If the internet worked, I would give them 5 stars! I did not rate the breakfast since I do not eat the breakfasts there. Recommended with the caveat about the internet

I have been at this HIEX since the first of November. I have not checked, working in the Oil and Gas Division (Long Term Stay)
1) Now lets talk about the Room - Since I am the only person in this certain room, my room only needs to be cleaned twice a week. (Monday & Thursday) More times than not, when house keeping cleans the room, they do not change my sheets nor do they do a very good job of dusting. So when I get back to the room from work that day or when I went to visit family (every other weekend) I have to call the front desk to have housekeeping chnge sheets. This is getting very, very old. I should not have to check to see if sheets were changed or not. It frustates me to all ends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2) The Internet service very, very slow and unreliable. When myself and others have complained, the MGR, tells us to call the service provider and complain to them.. No matter what myself and others with the company I work for (10 to 15 plus, stay at this HIEX) nothing seems to get done. I know the desk personnel have called the service provider, then all you here is the internet is fine, nothing wrong. The provider is non-responsive to this issue. For the area and this HIEX, the Internet service should be fast and reliable-NOT slow and non-responsive.....

Staff was great, room was average, internet was a constant problem and finally got to the point I could not do my job so I left. Staff/management was aware of the problem

I stay at this particular hotel quite frequently. It was apparent that every extra attention to detail had been taken in my room. Everything was placed exactly like you'd see in a brochure of a very fine hotel.
Between the quiet, comfortable room and bed to the awesome breakfast, I was as rested there as I would have been had I stayed at home in my own bed.
Definitely recommend this hotel for stays around Huntsville.
