internet service needs to be updated (out of date) very slow and unreliable.

Convenient when visiting relatives in Huntsville. Clean and the staff at the desk always seem efficient and helpful.
Although the mattress appears to be a good quality, it is a little too firm for my comfort. I wake up stiff in the morning, but it soon wears off.
Very pungent odor when first entering the room. It was some type of cover up air freshener or cleaning product. Not sure if the intent was to cover up a previous smoker or not, but it was very strong. We got use to it in a short time, but when first entering the room, it was a little overbearing.

Of all the HIEX I have stayed in over the past 16 years, the Internet service here at the HIEX in Huntsville, Texas is the worse. The Internet service is very slow and unreliable. As far as recomending this HIEX, I would for staff and comfort. Would NOT recomend due to POOR Internet service.

Internet is still very spotty, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Often I have to work out of the hotel room and having a poor connection is very frustrating.
Other than that, I really like this hotel. Staff is super nice and the hotel is in great shape.

I stayed here recently and while the hotel property was nice, clean, well appointed and comfortable the young man that checked me in was the rudest I have encountered. He literally threw the key card packet across the desk and walked off. He never greeted me as a platinum member--in general he was discourteous and rude. I was shocked because of what I have come to expect at Holiday Inn Express hotels. Still like the brand, but will be wary of this one.

My group was more than pleased with our selection. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had nice ammenities. Our group had last minute requests, and the hotel staff was happy to help-in fact, our caterer backed out at the last minute and the hotel staff found us a new one. They really did make it a wonderful weekend.

I very much enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Huntsville. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms where clean and spacious. If my work brings me back to Huntsville I will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn.
