Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Clean with Comfortable beds. Hotel was very clean and front desk staff was very friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated and housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is quaint with a maximum capacity of 10. I would recommend staying here. Walking distance to restaurants, Walmart and grocery store. March 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room And Comfort I have pretty much stayed at only Holiday Inns for many years and I travel quite a bit as I maintain a Platiumn guest card. However and I have mentined this to the Manager that the beds that are in this location are not the same as any other location I have ever been in. In fact normally I will be in one of your sites the day before or after and can't believe how poor the beds in Huntsville are. I am going to try one more time this week but if they are the same as the past I will not recommend this location and will more and use your competitors here. I do enjoy and recommend the Holiday Inn chain and will continue using all other locations. Just stop in and sleep in Barrie and then sleep in Huntsville and you will not have to look very hard. The breakfast wasn't a big choice but was still good as it was free. Close to a couple of chain restrauants where we had excellent meals and could walk as well as some shopping if so desired. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Getaway We arrived New Year's Day and were greeted by a very friendly, helpful young woman at the front desk and that set the tone for our two day stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and were willing to give extra effort to help us out. The hotel is convenient to Arrowhead Provincial Park where we spent time Cross-Country Skiing and Skating. Downtown Huntsville is also 5 minutes away. Our only critique is that the beds are a little frim for our liking but others might not mind. The hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. For and economical visit to a lovely town and great area, it would be hard to beat the Holiday Inn Express. January 17, 2013

Kelseys and East Side Marios right close by and the discount for showing your room key was a nice touch! Within 5 minutes of the Downtown area. Super location right off the highway. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by December 24th It was christmas eve and we had just driven to Huntsville from Kingston. Surprise - we were upgraded to a suite - thanks Santa. Room was GREAT and so was breakfast the next day. There was an indoor pool and gym that looked good. We weren't in the mood to try them out though. January 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy place to rest during Girlfriends Getaway Weekend A close friend and i stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last weekend with our package for the Girls Weekend away in Huntsville. We were greeted immediately upon check-in, which went smoothly, parking was convenient and free and our room was spacious and comfortable. Our view was of the garbage dumpsters and fields, but that didn't matter. Only real complaint would be the lack of lighting in the washroom or anywhere in the room for 2 ladies to get ready, and put on our make-up for our evening events. Breakfast was included, lots of place to sit, hot coffee and great cinnamon buns where perfect. November 16, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Girlfriends This was a great experience on the Girlfriend weekend and the staff were friendly and helpful. The free facials in the lobby on the hotel's dime was a lovely gesture. My only issue was the parents and childen who stayed on our floor. They were incredibly disruptive and kept us awake for hours. This was problematic since my daughter became ill. Hotel staff did their best but it wasn't until the police were threatened that they quieted down. Children playing football in the hallway at midnight was a bit over the top! Otherwise we had fun! November 16, 2012

Staff at the front desk were amazing and very helpful in assisting us with our questions and giving suggestions and directions for the getaway weekend. Whole weekend was very well organized and found the Event boards in the Lobby excellent. Very much appreciated the discrete handling by the front desk of the noisy room neighbours. November 12, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff/ Missed Breakfast I must say, your front desk staff is superb. They are ever cheerful, helpful and really care about making your experience top notch. They were very sweet with my beloved dog Shadow. I did have a problem with the fridge in my suite, but the manager made it right. The hotel is very clean and quiet, even the team of young hockey players was quiet after 10:00 curfew! My sons and I all enjoyed our suites. Great value for the extra space and comfort. Suggest milk 'creamers' for coffee be put in the fridge . I missed breakfast because my dog was too anxious for me to leave the room, so it would be nice if someone could be available to bring a sweet roll and a fruit (something simple). November 3, 2012

The staff were very friendly and made sure you were looked after. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back! October 3, 2012
