Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable beds/poor location The stay was horrible! We went to breakfast at 9:00 am and everything was always gone and it was always crowed with no where to sit. The staff was rude or acted as if they could not understand what i was asking when I asked was more food coming. I also found long black hair in my sausages. The iron was broken. One day they didn't replace the towels, so we called down and was interrogated as if we were lying. Then, we paid for Metro passes and called to ask could we pick them up the following day. The desk clerk did not know what we were talking about. We went down the next morning and was told that we had already received the passes. We assured him that we had not. He explained that the girl had given them to me. Finally he looked around and found them in an envelop with my name on them. Oh, the passes did not work when we arrived at the Metro. Last, I asked the clerk for places around the city to visit. I asked did they have a flea market. She told me that they did, told me how to get there, so we went off to the flea market. When we arrived we found out that it only opens on Saturday's and Sunday's. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express and by far this was the worse.The staff was unprofessional and it was not a pleasant stay. This experience has made me rethink choosing Holiday Inn Express as a first choice. April 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unsatisfied Customer The room and bathroom were small. The room and both ends of the hallway had unpleasant smell. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, definitely not made for two adults. The sheets and towels had long hair on it, which was not ours (this was on our first day there!!). The lobby was almost non existent. The manager did not honor my family and friends discount, which did not go through due to their system glitch. I have been using Holiday Inn Express at various locations for my stays for the past twenty years - this was by far the most uncomfortable stay. Given this experience and inconsistency in the Holiday Inn standards, I am going to stop staying at Holiday Inn Express. It was definitely not worth the money April 8, 2015

If Holiday Inn can help lessen the noise levels and improve upon the exterior appearance and reception ambience it would be a better deal. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient location Would recommend this Holiday Inn Express to anyone visiting DC who is using a vehicle since parking if free and the location is excellent as far as being close to major highways. Service, breakfast, cleanliness and comfort of bed was all good. Only two negatives - the safe in the wardrobe was broken and the small in-room refrigerator was noisy. March 30, 2015
