Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lexington Visit I had the pleasure to stay at this location for a couple of days. Wonderful staff and nice location. The room was nice but a little on the hot side. Could not get the room to cool down enough but it was certainly a hot day during my visit. The front staff were very pleasant and even recommended the best BBQ in Kansas City. The food was outstanding and thank you for the recommendations. I have included it as one of my regular stops and to do list when I am back again.. August 1, 2015

My hats off to their entire staff! Met and greeted by each and every staff member when met in any area of the hotel. The staff member at breakfast went to every table to insure all guests needs were met! It is the little things that not only make the difference but makes a LASTING IMPRESSION! In this era of hurry up and electronics, what a breath of fresh air this stay was!!!! Customer Service is a dying art but this location's staff hit the bulls eye!!!! Thank you for your service!!!! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Like Dogs? Do you like dogs? If so, you would have loved our room! Dog right next door...barked many, many times through the night and obnoxiously throughout the morning. We had asked to be moved but was told "that is so hard to do" and "we are full tonight". We were told that when making reservations we would need to request a room that wasn't by a dog. What?!? Lost a lot of respect for the Holiday Inn chain. No recognition for Reward Club Members. July 29, 2015
