Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Could use a litle renovation but overall great HI Express Beds were not as comfortable as other (probably newer) Express hotels but it was just what I expected. However, pay attention to local events going on. HI Express takes advantage and increases the prices. The price of the room was substantially higher than I am use to paying for an Express. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay Room was clean and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good, and there was a very good variety. Pool was a little small, but that wouldn't stop us from coming back. All in all, we would definitely stay again if we're in the area. April 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the Best HIE Out of a lot of HIE I've stayed at, this one is up there in terms of location, cost, cleanliness, and great friendly staff. A good breakfast selection which they switch up every day, which was nice to have something different to choose from through out the week.I highly recommend this location, and will certainly return when I have business in the area again! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Hospitality! My stay coincided with the largest snowfall in 2 years. A member of the staff ( so sorry I didn't get his name ) spontaneously cleared the snow off each guests car ! Not only that, but the staff retrieved lasagna, pizza, and sandwiches for the guests the evening that all area restaurants were closed! They didn't have to do ANY of this, we basically were stuck there and had no where else to go. Will definitely stay here when future needs arise-highly recommend! Thank you so much! February 28, 2013

The hotel is located very close to a variety of restaurants and is just off I-70. It was a convenient location for our needs on this trip to visit the Truman Presidential Library and Museum. Everything...I mean everything was handle professionally. The entire staff acted as if their job depended on making our stay perfect and it was greatly appreciated. As a Priority Club Member, I couldn't rate this hotel high enough. Will definitely stay here again & will most assuredly recommend this Express to everyone! December 15, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by doing laundry at night i know that you had to do laundry at night, but was very unhappy that the front desk had to do laundry at night where i was next door to the laundry room, Next time the people need to make sure that there isn't anyone in the room next to the laundry room before doing it to keep guest awake.breakfast area was dirty like they didn't clean tables and trash, my wish works at the HIE and they make sure when guest leaves the breakfast table the lady cleans the table after to make sure its clean for the next person, Very unhappy and didn't do anything to make me leave as a happy guest. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Recommend I would highly recommend this location. The front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Check in and check out was quick. Only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 stars is that the hot breakfast was the worst ever. There was only one person working the breakfast and was not able to keep up with the bar. You had to wait in line to get the food when it came up or you would not get any. December 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fine accomodations but heads up when locating this HIX Westbound on I-70 there is one HIX bill board that says turn left at exit 13, so you follow instructions and good luck, there are no more signs directing to the side road location. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor housekeeping We booked a two night stay and when we returned the second evening of our stay, expecting clean towels, coffee to replace what we had used that morning and a clean room and a bed that had been made up, it soon became apparent that our room had not been tended to. When we called the desk, we were told we should have stopped at the front desk and told them we were leaving for the day!! Never had to do that in any other accommodations, around the world! This certainly colored our impression of this Holiday Inn Express! We are priority club members, too.... November 24, 2012

We have stayed with you before and liked how it was centrally located to all of the activities we like to do. This stay was an anniversary get away and we had a great stay. The staff was so friendly!
