Nice facility and very friendly staff. Will stay again on every visit to Indianapolis. This facility was recommended by a coworker and ceratinly met our expectations.

We've stayed here before and loved it. This Holiday Inn Express is head and shoulders above all the other ones at which we've stayed, and better than many hotels that have much higher rates. Our King room had a separate kitchen area, with a raised counter and stools - very handy. It was spacious and well thought out. And I can't say enough about Cassie, who gave us a DEAD quiet room when I said I had a bad cold and was a light sleeper. She's a gem! The breakfast choices were the usual HIE fare, and was good. (I only wish they had fruit salad or something as well.) Other pricier options on the east side don't even come close.

Reasonable rates, great highway access, we enjoyed our stay, room was beautiful, clean and most importantly QUIET! Had a teriffic nights sleep and felt smarter!

I chose this Holiday Inn Express as the place I would stay while I attended the International Motorsports Industry Show at the Indiana Convention Center.
When I entered the lobby I presented my Priority Club Platinum card to the lady working at the desk. She looked at my card and walked over to the end of the desk and picked up a preprinted registration form. I signed and initialed the form and was given my key. They was not indication from the lady that I was a Platinum member. There was no welcome package (water, etc.).
Without comment I went to my room,
When I got to the room I found the shower curtain was torn in several places. The bathroom door would not stay open because all but one of the screws in the lower hinge were missing.
I went down to use the vending machine and found it would not accept dollar bills.
Next, as I was going out for dinner I asked the same desk person for a restaurant recommendation. Without a comment or recommendation, she handed me a printed list and went back to what she was doing.
Also, the list of programs available on the hotel's TV was the smallest and least inclusive I have ever found at a Holilday Inn.
Overall I am very disappointed in this hotel and will not return.

Arrived after midnight following a full day of meetings in St Louis. The desk staff was very quick in getting me checked in. When I realized my Priority Club number was missing, she added it to the record, offered me a room upgrade, and provided a snack and bottled water. The king suite was very well set up and I thought I'll have to come back when I can spend some more time. My only negative comment (and this is really minor) concerns the bath towels. The one I pulled off the shelf had lost most of its fluff. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. As I pulled a cinnamon roll out of the warmer the hostess came up and apologized. My roll had been sitting too long and was a bit hard. She replaced it with a gooey fresh one. While eating she refreshed my coffee and juice. This was a free breakfast and I got better service than in some restaurants. The next time I'm in Indianapolis there is no doubt where I'll be staying.

I stay about 40 nights/year, usually in Holiday Inn and HI Express. The staff at this location, including the breakfast staff, were most pleasant. Perhaps, this was the most friendly and hospitable staff I can remember at a HIExpress.
Since Indianapolis is going to become a periodic desitnation for my upcoming travel, I will be sure to book this Western Select Drive location in the future.

We recently brought our church youth group to stay at your facility. We had an awesome experience! Your staff treated us with great professionalism and courtesy. Their treatment of us went beyond the normal, they anticipated our needs and went above the call of duty to ensure that our stay was pleasant. The rooms we had were huge! We had more than enough room and we didn't have students tripping over one another. It was great! We will definitely stay again and have already recommended you to others. Keep up the good work!

The location of the hotel is acceptable especially if access to highway is needed, and large parking space is necessary.
The rooms are spacious. the Bathtub had a huge crack in the wall unit in poor repair, and the lights at the street side parking penetrated even the night curtains and kept the room illuminated at night.
The staff tried to be friendly but was not the most inviting.
