I booked this hotel for the suite and the hot tub. The hotel experienced a water pipe break and had no water for several hours. While I understand things happen, I also feel this should have been a automatic compensation for the guest staying there.
The hot tub was the temperature of what a pool should have been. It was maybe 90 at best. Not to mention the pool was rather cool as well. Huge disappointment! Very below what I would have expected for a Holiday Inn.
When I returned home, and checked my checking account they had over charged my account by $25.00, I was never told this until I called the hotel and questioned them. I was told it was for incidentals like copying or faxing or laundry service.. mm Really on a Saturday night, but ok.
I called and asked to be reimbursed for the inconvenience of the hot tub and no water, they took off 10%. No biggie.
Our room was clean and spacious, no instruction was given on how to turn on the fireplace had to call the front desk.
The hotel was clean and the kitchen staff for breakfast was pleasant and informative. The front desk clerks need to learn to communicate more with their guests with what to expect, additional costs, etc.
Overall experience was average, clean hotel, easy access. But would not spend the additional money to stay here again for amenities.

At this location the over-all experience was great! he rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are great and the pillows are even better. I want to find out where they purchased their pillows, they are the best. The breakfast was good but could use a little more variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very little to almost no traffic noise, considering we were right off the freeway.
I would recommend this particular Holiday Inn Express.

Actually the only complaint I have is with the response to negative comments on the website, normally I don't leave reviews but the way that was handled was poor. I am a business traveler so I have seen a hotel or two and this one was par for course, nothing wrong with it but no extravagance either. Thanks for the nice stay, Thanks to the staff for cleaning my room and making me breakfast it was greatly appreciated.

I had an excellent stay during a quick business trip. The staff was very kind and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable. With the exception of a slight rattling noise in the heating unit the room was perfect.

For starters on the way every stay should go. If you have a platinum member and a room to upgrade him or her to then you should. And I know you did because I checked on line and the 1-800#. The room was very dusty all over. Literally could write my name in the dust and the bathroom was covered in hair. From the sink to the bathtub. Also, if you are supplying shampoo then you also need to supply conditioner. Next was the breakfast area that did not live up to the IHG breakfast. How do you mess up cinnamon rolls? Well this hotel did a great job at figuring it out! They were the worst I've ever had at any hotel I've been to with IHG.

Never stay here again. Not good customer service. Had to have card re keyed 3 times. No cribs available.
