Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Holiday Inn Express Greeted as a Platinum member, offered some snacks or points - Hotel was clean and very well located right next to Lucas Oil Stadium and the Convention Center - which is why I was in town. 2014 NRA Convention. I lucked out and got the room on points as the prices for this weekend were jacked up at all the local hotels... I did have to pay $14 a day for parking but that was reasonable for the event. Breakfast was good, the usual fair for an Express. I was surprised to receive a call from guest services after getting back from dinner, asking if everything was good and if I needed anything! Great service! Did not use any other services. April 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful hotel, very quiet. Wonderful place, close to everything. the food was good. didn't like to pay $ 14 per car. everything else was great. April 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, pleasant and convenient We were happy to find the Holiday Inn Express Downtown so convenient to so many places in Indy. We had to go to an appointment the next morning that was just about 5 min. away. However, it was nice to see how close it is located to Lucas Oil Stadium, etc. We will definitely stay here again. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Keep up the good work. April 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal great price, clean and easy, 10 minute walk to central downtown April 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Downtown Indy Stay was great. Clean hotel with good service. Poor TV channel selection. April 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly courteous staff Requested details for a local barber shop; the young lady at the desk knew one without hesitation and the experience of visiting an old fashioned barber shop was excellent. April 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! Close proximatry to the convention center and pleasant staff, clean and food was good. April 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A bit noisy but the location was great Sure it's right next to a busy street in downtown Indy, but I guess that is the sacrifice you make for a great location. Right next to Lucas Oil Stadium and we walked a few blocks to the downtown area which was full of lively activity, even on a Sunday evening. The person at the front desk said the shuttle did not run on Sunday, even though we saw the shuttle loading people at 1 p.m. that afternoon. He also gave us bad directions to a Mexican restaurant the was not at the location he indicated, but all in all this was not too bad. Rooms a bit overpriced for this time of the year as many others have suggested in their reviews, but it would not stop us from staying again. April 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping did an excellent job! Management was hospitable. When I called for the room, the first customer service person at the hotel told me that they couldn't make sure that the room was cleaned thoroughly because they wouldn't know what room I would have until I got there. So, I said that I would call back in the morning. She needed some work on her skills with people. With an upcoming surgery, I didn't want to pick anything up with lack of cleanliness. I called and talked with Patsy the manager and she made sure that the head of housekeeping got my message and took extra care cleaning this room for us. This was great! But, even with a clean room, our stay was not great. We must have had the room that they give people that are using their points. It was right by the elevator and we heard it all night dinging. Our bed must have been the first bed that they ever had in the hotel. So.....uncomfortable that neither of us slept. We were so tired that we didn't make it to take part in the breakfast. While trying to sleep with a late check out, housekeeping kept knocking at our door all morning. The air conditioner also kept the room unevenly controlled. It would get hot, so we would get up and turn it down, then it would get cold, so again, we got up to turn it up. With all the precautions of making sure that the room was clean so that we didn't pick anything up, we both ended up getting sick from lack of sleep and the temperatures being up and down. Not a good stay! We were in room 306. I am sorry that we wasted our points staying at this hotel. When we told the manager about everything, she only took our parking fee of $14.00 off and didn't refund our points. We think that this should be refunded, so that the next time we stay, it will be worth it and be worth building these points as we have done. So, disappointed! April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great front desk service Received great service at registration from the front desk staff. April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient The room was very nice, couch and chair comfortable, a restaurant/bar very close, Lucas Oil Stadium as a neighbor, life is good! It was a little pricey and the water was very hard, couldn't make later with the soap. The staff was very friendly and we used the shuttle several time because it was very convenient. No doubt we would stay there again. April 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet room, excellent service. The room was clean and quiet. Hotel parking was excellent. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time in Indy. April 4, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Disappointed for the cost of the room, had to pay $14 to park in a small parking lot, bed was not comfortable shower was questionable. April 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by loved room setup Having a livingroom as well as the bedroom was a nice surprise. So comfortable! March 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location, great size hotel I was shocked to be just outside the Lucas Oil Stadium. I loved the convenience of the parking lot and the price was great. My mom and I enjoyed a weekend in the very spacious King suite. I loved the convenience of having a mini fridge. Nice to come back to the room for happy hour. March 27, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service Stayed here while passing through Indianapolis. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Had some trouble with our room key working, but the front desk staff was able to fix it quickly and there were even warm cookies to enjoy. March 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Places to Stay I feel good about staying at Holiday Inn and Suites in every city I visit. It is comfortable and clean. March 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcomed and added to our stay with clear directions and suggestions. Although all staff members were truly trying to make our stay a positive experience, the most attentive was the woman who seemed to be in charge of the breakfast. She went out of her way to ensure we had what we wanted, including finding a yogurt for a member of our party who arrived at the breakfast later than the rest of us. This Holiday Inn staff person was also just friendly and helped made our stay relaxing. Plus I heard a desk clerk help a couple remain calm as they realized they'd booked at a different Indy Holiday Inn. Great staff! March 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great visit and affordable Thank you for making my trip to Indianapolis a memorable one. Your location was ideal. It was easy to get to and from. Your staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I would definiately come back and make my stay with you. March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room My stay was at the Holiday Inn Downtown was not planned and yet I was very pleased with the accommodations, and would highly recommend staying at a Holiday Inn Express. March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Staff The staff at this hotel was amazing. They were very responsive to my needs and were able to recommend great restaurants in the local area. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reasonable place to stay near Lucas Oil stadium Reasonably priced but with attentive staff. Breakfast choices were fine. Too bad we were not notified that pool would be unavailable, as that was the reason why this hotel was chosen! March 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Parking is terrible this HIE is what most people would expect and it is fine for most expectations but the parking lot is woefully inadequate and inconvenient March 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Up-dated Hotel The hotel seems to be at the end of a remodeling project. I would not have been able to use the pool due to injury, but the pool area was closed for the remodel. If pool is important, call before you reserve for a status check. Gym is nice. They have a computer with printer to print off boarding passes. Tip: Make sure to ask about the hotel's downtown shuttle. It will not pick up at the airport or take you to the airport, but it might drop you off at various places downtown. IndyGo is a shuttle service that does take people to the airport at a reduced cost. March 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Riley hospital We were in Indy for my daughters surgery. I like How the hotel gave us a medical discount. The rooms are always nice and clean. Also that the hotel is located less then 10 minutes from Riley hospital March 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Positive experience Overall positive experience; however, the pool was still being repaired so our family ended up going to a nearby hotel (few blocks away) and we are able to use their pool seamlessly. The other issue is that there was a live band playing or rehearsing late into the night and you can hear them from your room (if you're staying on the non-Lucas Oil field side). They were somewhat loud - they also need to work on their music and their frontman vocal scales ! March 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Confedrence stay in Indy In general, I enjoyed my stay and the hotel was only a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center where I was attending a trade show. March 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by There's a reason it was the cheapest Not the best example of a Holiday Inn Express but if you need to stay near downtown and just need a place to hang your hat for the night, it will do alright. They've got an unusually small parking lot so if you're not back early you'll have to park in a nearby garage. This would be ok except the area is a bit creepy/industrial (nice view of an old factory or something billowing out steam and smoke). Fun if you're going to a game with your brother, not so much a place to take your girlfriend. I didn't know till I already paid for the room but there was a parking fee they seem use to drive down the online price. The guy that checked us in didn't seem to take well to being pulled from his TV time. The house keeping was a bit invasive and woke us up both mornings. We put up the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign and they still knocked, opened the door (which made a good loud noise when the top slide lock hit) and yelled into the room "House Keeping!" Also, if you end up with a room by the elevator request a room change because you can hear the hallway like the door was left open. We're pretty easy going and it's a funny story now but all of the other Holiday Inn Express locations we've been to provided a better experience, especially last summer in West Virginia (a very good weekend getaway). Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missed the pool. While traveling with a group with numerous children, it would of been nice to have the pool open. Based on information, the pool would have been open on March 28th which was not the case. Very disappointing as this was a main factor in booking this hotel. March 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful bed great breakfast, We love staying at holiday inn express we know we are going to have a great breakfast and a wonderful bed! March 9, 2014
