For a good, basic place to stay this is a reasonable hotel. I was very disappointed with housekeeping (their schedule and ability to actually leave the bathroom clean). When we checked in there were several long black hairs left on the floor of the bathroom, right in the middle of the floor where it was very obvious that they didn't care to pick them up. Another day housekeeping never showed up to service our room, the next day they hadn't shown up by 2:30 p.m. so I had to request service. They also forgot to leave us towels that day.

I was in 2 rooms during my 3 day stay and both rooms had A/C issues like what does a guy have to do to not freeze to death?

Advertised free WiFi. When it didn't work in our room, I called the front desk. She told me that I had to call a service provider and the number was with my WiFi access codes. I called them and after spending about 45 minutes on the phone, they determined that my signal was too weak and that they needed to reboot the system at the hotel. I called the front desk and told them what the provider had said. The person on said they didn't know anything about that and would see if someone else did. Nothing happened and I had no call back. Went to bed.
Also, when I was on the phone with the service provider, they told me I had the wrong logon. The instructions I got said to enter the word guest and the number given. It should have told me to enter the word guest and my room number preceded by a 0.

My review points:
HVAC system has thermostat on wall that also lets you control fan. I like the fan "on" always to mask any outside noise. (did not notice any noise)
HD TV was set up with channels properly inputted to allow surfing up & down the channels.
Guest Laundry was well maintained and reasonable. Front desk even supplied soap.
Convenient location.
Attentive breakfast staff .
Of coarse clean & well Maintained room

I have been staying at the Holiday Inn Express South in Indianapolis for the past month or two. Mandi and her staff have always been attentive to my needs, and always greet you with a smile, morning or night. The rooms have always been clean and spacious. Great job everyone!!

We stayed here during our grandaughter's dance competition. We were given an excellent price for our room due to the number of families needing accomoditations. They went out of their way to make our stay stress free.
We were given a meeting room for the girls to use. Made make up and hair morning go a lot smoother. Usually they are crammed into someone's room. Here, everyone had their own table, with plenty of room. Believe me when I say hair spray and make up were flying all over. The little ones had room to run off some excess energy without bothering the other guests.
The staff was genuinely interested about the outcome of the competition which made the girls feel really special.
The room was clean, bedding, bath towels all up to,par.
We will certainly use them again!!!

Purchased the family fun package with the children's museum and the zoo. Excellent value. No problems with any of the tickets. Requested adjoining rooms and a crib - got both with no problem. Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was really good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Staff in general were very friendly, and the room was ok int erms of size.
Property feels old, the bathroom felt very dirty, toilette all scrathced up, dirty tiles etc. The bed sheets and pillow covers were all wrinkled as if they had not been changed from previous guest, and made me feel bit uneasy.
I had called to check before booking and was told very easy to get taxi, i had to wait 20 minutes the first day.
Breakfast is only served to 9:30 and this to me is very poor service. When I arrived right before 10, the lady had already moved all the food into the kitchen. When I stood there and looked surprised about it being over by 9:30, and expressed the fact i was hungry, and the bagels and danishes sitting right in front of me, she didnt even offer that i could grab something.
Clearly not interested in satisfying a customers need.
